Agree .i been in fb and see so many cars stolen even those high techs cars hence my concern

Tq for the info. Been using the car for long time and i thought the steering lock is good enough. And even if the car can start without keys..the car will off on its own after few metre but im sure its hackable now. How bout gps?

Pedal lock is good but the hassle to go down and unlock it might be an issue as my parents might got back pain
But u mention got steering to pedal..gonna look into it

So far i hve changed a few..like absorber compressor bearing all those internal thingy..im also looking to changed the exterior but ya so far i think the car aged well but quite worried to change too much because already more than 10 years

The Clifford blackjax I think it's very good and not that easy to beat. Just a bit inconvenient coz everytime you need to punch in the code before driving.

Pedal to steering is the normal lock with the twin hook and lock in the middle. You can buy additional lock which locks the steering spoke then got the stick protruding to the dash on top. I use both of those in the Swift but I don't use the Blackjax. Blackjax I use on my other car.

GPS doesn't prevent from getting stolen, only help tracking it back if the thief doesn't yet discover it.

Hello Swift Owners,

Just bought a 2009 Swift Sport Manual. The exhaust is very loud thus i am looking to restore back the original SS twin tip exhaust. Any chance anybody selling here?

Will be looking to bring to Fineworks as soon as MCO is over for fluid change and checks for any replacement needed.

Thanks

Post in the FB club, got many halfcut sellers there who should have the stock muffler. I used to have one but had sold it a few months ago. But are you sure you want the stock muffler, or have you heard how it sounds stock? Cuz I personally don't like it. It makes the engine sounds like choking and screaming in pain, making me feel pity to rev it! 😅

Haha to be honest, I went tested another other 2 Swift Sports before settling on this 3rd car that I viewed. All of them have modified exhaust system from the headers all the way back. Have not sat inside a stock one. If there is a toned down version but not restrictive, any recommended brand or model?

My current exhaust, I think the guy at the next street can hear me coming 😅

I use Suzuki Sport Type X rear muffler, and replaced the manifold with 4-2-1 headers without catalytic converters so also quite loud BUT it's not droning loud. If constant throttle then it's just a bit raspy then only roars loud if you press, but it's not booming or droning bassy loud.

Why kill the fun and downgrading to stock muffler???

Just go add a 16 inch bullet on your mid pipe, problem solved!!

Rather than buying a rubbish stock muffler that is easy to buy but hard to sell hahaha.

Just my two cents.

Cheers!!

No, that's a bit too thirsty. At least I expect to reach 360-380km when the warning light comes up. But FC is highly dependent by driving style also.
