Went all the way to Tekni Direct @ Hugo and I'm impressed with the workmanship, leather selection and design. Didnt buy as I was looking for fabric but will sure come if I'm looking at leather

End up in MV and bought my fabric acacia U shape (7.6' x 13' x 5.') fro I Benz based on my customization (exactly the design fro Crown Living)

Hugo quoted u shape leather (pic 5) at $12k

I Benz also has nice new 3 seater fabric (3rd and 4th pic) at $4.3k

Just went there yesterday, bought the chair in the first picture from Tekni Direct

Opted for the bovine leather instead of the higher priced semi aniline leather

Also need to mention that there's another place that I was interested in as well. Never got the chance to visit because of MCO but they were very helpful and informative online.

It's called Bann Gallery and their sofa's are more unique in design compared against normal shops.

Where can I buy fabric sofa using microfibre? I read that microfibre tends to be scratch resistant or cats' scratch proof.

I'm using leather sofa now and it's full of scratches.

I’ve had 2 sets of King Living in Australia. Very sturdy and the designs are phenomenal. I’d say be wary of those with mechanisms as they’re a pain and the cost of servicing ain’t cheap.

With the leather sets, do get the appropriate moisturizing kit so it doesn’t wrinkle. I’ve had one set over 10 years and it’s still in good condition.

Which series did you go for?
I am eyeing on Delta III by King.. really tempting, looks like quality Italian Leather.. waiting for keys

just curious, does the high humidity creates problem for expensive wood sofas?

High humidity means either you should run the aircon more or ventilate out the place with windows/exhaust fan.

Coz usually condos have good airflow due to the height.

Anyway, I just took delivery of a Vimle (ikea sofa) and love it to bits. Good also there was a rm49 delivery offer

i've been recent open to looking at sofas, and i do found that king living is manufacturing in China. which i dont really keen to this brand anymore, as i do found along the road was another shop call Sofology.
they selling full semi aniline leather L Shape sofa made in Italy. and price as King Living Fabric made in China.

I bought their Atlantis Sofa at 20k. good deal for Italy Made products.
just their dining table for porcelain top is nice but over my budget..

may look for SK Lim, at sofology. as this young man is very experience in furniture, and shared me alot knowledge

Hi all, I'm currently looking for sofa with headrest with budget (if possible) below RM5000. Any recommended shop to go for? I do not need the "designer sofa" and only require a functional sofa that I can rest haha.

Not sure 99% of the sofa out there comes with a very low height seat. I'm a quite tall guy with broad shoulders so it's really not comfortable sitting on those kind of sofa. That's why I'm looking for a sofa with headrest

Ok with L sofa? if yes go try Ikea Slatorp with adjustable seat back. used to cost only 2995 but now price increased to 3495. Still a good buy IMO as its very comfortable for me

Looks not bad. Didn't know IKEA sell this kind of sofa before.
I have bad experiences with IKEA sofa and wardrobe so tend to avoid IKEA most of the time.

How about those sofa with Recliner? Normally these come with headrest right?
