QUOTE(raul88 @ Apr 14 2017, 10:02 PM) hi guys Yes, life insurance + EPF, maximum claim rm6000. You should receive the insurance statement for income tax purposes.. follow the premium stated in the statement to reportnewbie here question regarding life insurance since EPF contribution is counted directly how should i add on life insurance? for eg...if i paid rm10/month for lifeinsurance so i just add RM1000(epf for example) + Rm120 (life insurance) ?? as long as it within 6k is that assumption right? |

Ur is B form with biz incomeQUOTE(misnail @ Apr 15 2017, 10:47 PM) I just received my refund from LHDN and the amount is lower than the amount stated in my tax filing form. U need to call to LHDN to check.. sometime is either ur PCB amount not match with amount they received.Anyone have experience this before? What should I do next? QUOTE(kazuya90 @ Apr 16 2017, 01:23 PM) one silly question, after submitting my income tax. i am being taxed for RM1900. Can i let it deduct by themselves monthly instead of paying one shot.... because am lack of cash right now... Anyone please advise. Because last year they will issue letter to my company and ask them to deduct. but this year amount is higher. Last year only 600 something.... You can always discuss with the tax officer for installment plan. |

QUOTE(rocketm @ May 12 2017, 02:44 PM) Hi, can I know whether the lifestyle tax relief is going to implement on next year income tax assessment 2017 (submit in year 2018)? the receipt can only claim based on the year of amount incurred. refer to the date of the receipt, 2017 receipt can only claim for YA2017 tax relief.. no carried fwd.Where can I get more details information? As I know the lifestyle tax relief constitutes purchase of computer, laptop, internet subscription, gym, reading materials and so on for max RM2500 per year. My questions are 1. How many year of the receipt can I use to claim? 2. For computer I claim at year 1 for RM1000 (example), will this RM1000 take into account for next year (year 2) which means year 2 i only can claim RM 1500 only? Thanks if someone can answer my inquiries. |

QUOTE(fztt @ Aug 21 2017, 08:49 PM) I received a 113(2) letter from LHDN today demanding additional tax. U can ask them to provide the computation of additional tax.. maybe it involved some penalty charges.. how long they come back to u from the time u send ur p&l until u receive the additional tax payable notice?Previously they have sent me letter asking for my P&L, sole proprietor, which I did. The thing is, their additional tax amount doesn't match any expenses or permutation of expenses (they added 2.4k to my net profit so I assume I should be able to derive where they minus off 2.4k from my expenses), they never asked for receipts or full set of accounts or breakdown of expenses, only the P&L, so I have no idea where they derived the 2.4k from? Should I pay or should I ask for a meeting & bring over all my documents to see them. The figure added seem very arbitrary to me. |

QUOTE(enriquelee @ Apr 6 2018, 09:51 AM) They told me the same too when i called and ask. But i really doubt is it so simple? So have you managed to change from Be to B via this simple process? QUOTE(rapple @ Apr 6 2018, 10:11 AM) My friend purposely went to LHDN to request for the change, but get the same answer from them. Just choose B form when submit, they will change.. but sometime system n CP500 2 different, 1 SG, 1 OG, but most important is the tax number is correct.. SG or OF doesn’t matter.. have been doing so for 2-3 years no issueStill not changed. 2016 and 2017 still under SG but filed through Form B. |

The co asked her to do tax clearance with IRB only HR will release the bonus to her. So, today she went to IRB n show the bonus letter to IRB for tax clearance, the IRB officer add the bonus yet to receive to her YA2017 income. So I wonder y IRB treat that income yet to receive as 2017 income. Coz income should based on year of received for individual |
