ok, i put my my actual maxis oneplan + oneshare + wirelessbb bill summary below.

which is the proper claims for Lifestyle Relief? biggrin.gif

Method 1: Claim wirelessbb RM48 only?

Method 2: Claim wirelessbb + oneplan + oneshare = RM48 + RM98 + RM48?

Based on recent LHDN email reply posted earlier, Method 2 is acceptable.

Note: All bills are fully paid in 2017 (not that i can run away from not paying without line suspension). No issue to provide payment records.

Paying them sure not problem.
Gathering out all those statements/bills/tax invoices and keep for 7 years will be headache.

it's ok la. all got eStatement/eBill sent monthly.

but agree, ppl with lousy/no filing management may encounter issues later haha

question about payment using cc (with 0.8% processing fee) thru https://byrhasil.hasil.gov.my/

can we make multiple payments?

assuming payable tax is RM50k (example), can we split to the payment to 5x RM10k times, all payments before deadline?

this 10% I thought is for purchases on selected merchants and capped at RM100 only right?
LHDN can get 10% too?
if yes,...that is good....can ask my company to get one so that employees PCB payment can be paid through this card.  thumbup.gif
*
where do you get the info that the 10% is for purchases on "selected merchants"?

except for a few exceptions, this card like m2c amex, covers everything under the sun biggrin.gif

Just wondering, let's say after filing, PCB is insufficient and still need to pay RM3000 tax. Is it possible to split the tax payment 3x times into:
1) March MBB Amex RM1k
2) April MBB Amex RM1k
3) April MBB VS RM1k

Any issue ? Or the system not allow multiple payments ?
hmm.gif
*
yes, am doing it now too. actual income tax payment amount is RM992.06 + RM7.94 from 0.8% admin fee. total charged to m2c amex: RM1,000

user posted image

my question now is, e-lejar have not updated to reflect the payment made though. curious when do they update it. hmm.gif

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Mar 26 2019, 11:28 PM)
Yes, I guess you may remember I ask similiar question few weeks ago.

Initially thinking to top-up BigPay card 2-3 times over March and April using MBB FCB, then use BigPay to pay tax one time.
But now my MBB FCB 2.5k fully utilised for March, so have to change plan.
MBB Amex cannot use to top up BigPay  sweat.gif
Hence my question above.
0.8% fee is still lower than cashback from Amex weekend 5% and FCB 2%

Wait ... MBB Amex pay income tax can earn weekend 5% ?  hmm.gif

above.

How can I check if my payment was made and no outstanding tax to be paid in the system? This my first time to pay tax and I paid my tax using amex card to get rebates. After the payment, I want to check to make sure I've no outstanding tax left, I go into Status e-Borang > Semakan Pengesahan > Select BE and 2018 > the tax payment summary page still got the "ByrHasil" word and blinking, which makes me feels like I still got outstanding yet to be settled. Any idea?

to check payment, try e-Lejar to check payment after few days or 1st of the following month.

my 1st payment (cc), TARIKH TRANSAKSI @ 16 Mar, TARIKH KEMASKINI @ 24 Mar. even that, it doesnt get updated in eLejar after 24 Mar. only after 1st Apr, the eLejar refreshed, then can see the payment details.

p/s: contacted LHDN via email. sent 25 Mar. only gotten reply 11 Apr doh.gif by the time receiving the response, i already knew in early Apr payment have been reflected.

I only have my phone data plan, can I claim it for income tax?
*
this is a grey area. some took the risk and claim it, some dont.

if it's just an exclusive data plan (broadband plan), then can safely claim the relief.

user posted image

however, those with bundled plan (e.g. maxis oneplan or any other bundled plans out there) with bundled services voice-sms-data, the monthly bill doesnt split the services charges (like Unifi bill). it can be hit-or-miss to claim relief because we dont know how lhdn auditors classify the bundled plan.
