Form B due date 30th June so yea.

Every year I file early and pay later. But last year they send CP38 to my employer. doh.gif

Luckily it's a small company where my boss don't mind I'm secretly working for "others" biggrin.gif

Less than rm100 they will hold the amount. If you really want the refund then you have to write in.

If you like to declare income on accrual basis then go ahead.

Bonus months means employer deduct more PCB. And the PCB is for that particular month which fall in year 2018. Employer cannot pay for 2017 PCB in Apr 2018 because it will be late and will incur penalty.

RPGT is filed when you signed the SNP or when the titled is transfer?

2018 for sure.

MTD/PCB is calculated on a monthly basis meaning bonus + salary is for Apr 2018 and is for YA2018. IRB won’t care what is the purpose of the bonus/extra salary you get for that month as long as the employer do their responsibility by deducting PCB and pay them.

Yes the extension applies to the payment as well.

If you can submit on 15th May why can’t you pay on 15th May.

It’s not deductible because it’s not under your spouse name even if is paid by your spouse she still can’t claim it.

Once you register for a business your tax number change from SG to OG and instead of filing for BE you will be filing for form B.

Your employer will know you change from SG to OG due to them needing to pay for your PCB.

Personally, i would issue a bill under my own name and address to my client instead of registering a business.

Once you register a business your tax number will change (probably not immediatley, but you shouldn't use BE to file for your personal tax anymore)

Yup eventually they will know as you cant have two tax number.

Your friend set up a Sdn Bhd so he should refer back to the person who is going to handle the accounts.

For tax matter refer back to your tax agents since you will be paying them yearly.

Remember you have to send in the documents, accounts & ledgers to the auditors.

If employer uses e-PCB, salary+bonus+etc is calculated on accumulation basis from Jan to current month.

PCB is not deduct by % rather than your category and your level of income.
