look at the FPS only 1 fps difference.

There are 2 things to be sure

There is a driver a bug on Titan X or the guy is totally faking.

Try AF=0
Another user managed to reproduced it to looked like the claimed default screenshot before using that.

GTX970 times up, only advantage it had is the lower power consumption.

this denied jayz bias/lean towards nvidia like someone said before.

is the pricing same to compare to malaysia?.
im not up to date with msia prices.
*
jayz did say he's eager to do the review of the R9 390 in his Fury X review because he's impressed by it

QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Jul 7 2015, 09:01 PM)
Marginally shorter. Indeed the performance is slightly lower but it still 290x tier.

I think will price it similar or slightly lower than GTX 980.
Damn, that card is faster than my 290x.  doh.gif

980TI's true potential is when boost clock over 1.5k. Not sure if most cooler can sustain the boost clock without throttle though.

Giga G1 is a non-ref beast with practically no power limit, no surprise if it is a clear win. It's performance is almost 2x of 970.
*
Very rare to have 980 Ti that can go over 1500Mhz boost
Most are 1400-1500, this isn't 970/980.

My tiny room will always be heated by my Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-X when I'm playing games with temps reaching 70+. Processor is i7 4790K with Scythe Ashura. Will an upgrade of gpu reduce the amount of heat generated or should I switch to a liquid cooling solution?
*
Heat output will always be the same so there will be no difference if using liquid cooling.

You need to pump out the heat from your room to outside, such as aircond or get some fresh air into the room.

So how many of you have tested the 15.7? Any feedback?

Drop your comments on the official AMD thread should you face any issue. *That's because it's easier to track when it's over there. tongue.gif
*
I got around 3-5 fps increase in CPU bottlenecked City of Novigrad in The Witcher 3. Draw calls in DX11 is improved a lot.

Someone tested this:

Frame Rate Target Control is nice but it should be up to at least 144fps. 95fps is too low for the max limit.

Depend on which BIOS.
390 PCS+ BIOS gave me lowest temperature and lowest performance, Tri-X 390x gave me slightly better performance(2-3 fps) and 4c lower temperature.
MSI 390x gave me best performance, 12.5k GPU score in 3DMark at 1030/1250, 150x in Heaven 4.0 and 2c lower temp.
The XFX BIOS won't work, i can't install any driver and GPU-Z only show blanks.

None of these BIOSes overclock well for me which is expected.
No idea.. maybe these 390/390x BIOS have better load adjustment. hmm.gif
*
wtf

I got around that 12.5k GPU score in 3DMark but mine running at 1150/1500 rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Mine default BIOS with stock clock usually GPU score around 12.1k-12.2k.

Fury reviews out. 5-8% slower than Fury X, sounds like 290 & 290X all over again.
GTX980 is in an awkward price bracket now. Second hand sellers still asking for RM2k for their GTX980, wow doh.gif

why is 2k 2nd hand GTX 980 ridiculous?

That's around 20% off market price.
*
Because a nice 980Ti aftermarket can be had for 2.9k...
It's like 70% faster lol!
Not to mention brand new.
Also Fury is 2.4-2.5k brand new and faster.

I wonder, did you cap Dota 2 FPS? If not what is your average FPS?

I ran Vsync on so capped at 60fps hahhah. I hate screen tearing, it felt less smooth.

Fury 1133Mhz vs GTX980 1517Mhz

Interesting, Fury still can hold on to 1080p's performance even when compared to heavily overclocked GTX980

Maybe that die cast extension help reduce the sound noise.  tongue.gif

Maybe more on the thicker fan blade dimensions. Can push more air on lower RPMs.
I look at my Tri-X and really funny to see how small the blade is, no wonder it's louder when fanspeed more than 45%
