I'm not entirely sure but aren't there two ribbons on the main board? One to the LCD and the other one to another board or something. Can I know the price for both? My bro just picked up a screwed up N80 at a crazy price, he wants to fix the problem. He needs the price.

So far no problem with that during navigating except tiny screen the other thing was when I want to open the software it always shows not enough memory to run the program. What I do was restart the phone (off and on).

i would like to ask for the ori price for replacing the ribbon...any1 noes? cos if i use the rm30 ribbon then my warranty void d right...? still got half a year le my warranty.....=.=

Wanna ask u guys, i run run run for quite long ,then when i take out my n80 frmo my pocket, it says unable to read sim card or sumting, then i take out the card and put in again, again, the same error occured. Well i tried a few times till it was able to start up my sim card, when it was able to start up the sim card, i noticed some strange mulfunctions, the application button was spoilt i guess, and the left and so as the down navigation button also didn't react when i pressed them, i keep pressing but no reaction on the phone, application, right and down button. Then after an hour or so, i restarted the phone, taddaa everythings fine again. WTH?? Can anyone tell me wat to do?? should i go and claim warranty or what?? seriously, i don't want this error to repeat in future use of the phone.

May be you can ask Nokia Service Center. No harm what, just asking....

Does anybody knows where I can get the item (don't know what it called) in the red box?

It is safe to take your N80 to the nearest Nokia Care and have them change for u plus service ur phone for just RM80 only. I've done that 2 weeks ago, and replace a new battery to it. And my N80 works flawlessly just like when I first bought it a year ago.
I'm now very happy with my phone, first thinking to upgrade to N95 8GB, but now tunggu dulu aaah, I'm still in love with this small cute design of N80. Cayalah....

argh.my N80i is giving me some problems.apparently after i install any apps it will load for a few seconds and then just exit by itself. anyone knows how to overcome this problem?its annoying.
