IMHO most if not all Symbian 60-based phones lag. it's just a matter of how big the lag is.. 2seconds? 10 seconds? it all depends. don't let the word "lag" get to your head.

furthermore, lag only occurs when you have stored tons of apps/files/sms's in your phone. otherwise, the lag is tolerable. it's not that bad aftet you get used to it. heck, you wouldn't even notice it at all. doh.gif

i think nowadays,the more functions a fon has,sure there will be some problems come with it =.=" including laggy problem
*
Symbian phones are very complicated phone, considering the extra functions it carries compared to other normal phones. Thus with the extra function, you have to anticipate some lag. Personally, I don't feel it is that bad. This lag issue is just like the battery life issue, you can't expect the phone to last a week without a charge when it carries camera, media player functions on top of the normal phone communication, not to mention latest one which even includes GPS and WIFI. So, a little bit of lag is unavoidable for Symbian phone. Live with it or stay away from it wink.gif

may i know that after restart,and use some software such like taskman or handy task manager to check the memory without opening any applications; so far the highest i got is 19MB...dunno high or not... unsure.gif
what about other users?usually memory full comes when the memory falls below 10MB or around sweat.gif  doh.gif
*
19MB sounds about right...i never experienced my N80 memory fall below 10MB though...it is usually stabilized at 15MB level.

No, you can't install WM5.0 base s/w in N80. Only Symbian S60v3 software can be install.

er can i ask is this phone quite bulky?
the thickness i mean?
compare it with N95, which one is much bulky?
*
QUOTE(mstr583 @ Aug 15 2007, 05:27 AM)
Sure is N95..
*
I think I am qualified to answer this question as I owned the N80 before and now using the N95 tongue.gif
I do not agree with mstr583. When i hold N95 on my hand, I actually feel it is less bulky than N80 and the fact is that N95 is slimmer than N80.

N80 dimensions:

* Volume: 97.4 cc
* Weight: 134 g
* Length: 95.4 mm
* Width: 50 mm
* Thickness (max): 26 mm

N95 dimensions:
* Volume: 90 cc
* Weight: 120 g
* Length: 99 mm
* Width: 53 mm
* Thickness (max): 21 mm
