speed drops significantly...why?

There's has been a widespread report from a lot of users that tmnet is applying throttling to a much wider users and that includes P2P among local peers. However peers within same ip range are still not affected.

yep. only the same ip block is not affected. eg, u'll get a quite decent speed when you're on let say 60.53.xx.xx and connected to someone else from 60.53.xx.xx also. Other than that, we're screwed by TM the NUT.

Problem is how long can you lived without TM. Newly subscriber will still feed TM because of 1 or 2 years contract. so you have to go without TM for a few years. Go to other provider might face the same problem as current TM. So our country is as suck as we think it is.

mine is around 30kb, ***** i am able to get 100kb/s+... knn some of my dls going at 0kb/s...

currently at the 50s....

mine always maintain 10kB-20kB, very very slow speed...
sometimes go fast if the ip is 218.xxx.xx or 124.xxx.xxx

Since last week or so the throttling has become worse... now getting <<10kB/s average....

Hearsay TM Nuts also throttling local peers right? And they still got the gall to introduce their 4mbps service at RM200++

I'm now trying out a vpn service... seems to improve a bit.... 10-20kB/s.... nothing great but far better than nothing.

Like those latest anime episodes usually we get 100 kb/s but now max is about 30 kb/s

I just got my streamyx working after 3 months (moved house, tmnet screws up for 3 months with 'damaged port' bla bla bla). I turned on my BT to get some older stuff that I've been missing, and woot, 2~3kB/s per file. Yes, I'm not exactly getting 'hot' files, but wth, 3kB/s is ghey.

Try to subscribe vpn out there. U will reveal the 'secret' where tm nut is really throttling ur bandwidth. Suggest u subscribe 3 days trial package like RM5 & some even free. Check it out dude.

lol...i have somewhat the same problem!!!

i couldn't connect to the internet for 2 weeks then the guy i talked to after calling the help line told me to go to TM Point and disable the auto dialer.

then after connecting manually i can finally surf the internet but when i open Bitcomet,all my torrents are running ar 1-2 kb/s!!!!

my bitcomet 0.70 doesn't seem to want to connect to any peers!!!
