I THINK is not true.
waterproof will cover all bathroom with 30CM height as being told by Ah Liow(SD appointed engineer)
mine also leak near the concrete beam(ground floor) as toilet is up.
the purpose of seal is to withstand water pressure. not just water on surface as it serves no purpose.
the water proof ppl hv come and see my house. according to them, they will inject PU into the concrete to seal any space in between.
maybe true enough it might seal the leaks, but water might travel into master room floor instead of going down with gravity.
The only way to properly re-seal is to hack away all the tiles and replace the waterproof membrane entirely below the screeding. PU injection is not a proper solution. Mine also has leak nearby concrete beam of main bathroom (<12 hrs) and when tested >24hrs, even the main shower area leaks. Already filed DRF on 31st July. Yet to perform any rectification works. If anything has been done for you guys please share how is it finally rectifiedwaterproof will cover all bathroom with 30CM height as being told by Ah Liow(SD appointed engineer)
