QUOTE(chanti-sama @ Sep 28 2007, 12:27 PM) get a 1/48 ........ u'll truly appreciate the detail n complexity of it. I know! I like the Macross VF-21 the most! The design is so futuristic! Maybe later loh, when i have some money! It's yamato's finest and a fantastic work or marvel engineering. get it when u can afford it. u wont regret it. I waited close to 10 years for a YF-19 reissue by yamato. can u imagine the wait got the shin VF-0A adi? that oso have the ghost unit oso |

QUOTE(medicontherun @ Apr 4 2008, 12:00 PM) coolz.. From wat i see and hear recently! Bandai has been re-issue all those old kits tat they develop back then before they lost their license! So we get to buy Macross 2 model kit! Macross 7 Basara VF-19! and other bandai kits! Other models that they did not develop they may most likely come out (macross Zero kit)! cheaper kits is always good but i wonder.. will bandai continue from the current models or is there gonna be old models brought back Too bad currently Bandai did not give the distribution right for macross kit to our local distributor Litt Takk so we may still have to import the kits ourselves or buy from other parallel importer! But it is still cheaper than Yamato one and we also get to enjoy building the kit just like gundam! |

QUOTE(gerakhas @ May 16 2008, 09:31 AM) sure it be nice if it is already sold. i've heard that they want to add some spice up to the vf25 and it will be out at the end of the year.. anybody know what will the price will be? I dun think it will be launch so late, as a usual customer of Bandai plastic kit, their trend is always like before the main characters plane gets any upgrade or power up they will release the original model, and right after the anime ends they will push the upgraded version mecha out.So for this one i think it will be like those Eureka 7, Zegapain, and all those Bandai mecha. As for price i think for the size of that kit it will be around RM120-150++, and most likely never over RM200 becoz tat will be for later upcoming MG version VF fighters (R3 series) . Opss some more update on the same model! 2 other 2 modes: ![]() ![]() And this is the same model if not mistaken wonder if the whole transformation can be done with or without removing parts like those old bandai kit? And baddie also get the model kit treatment (or is it a model kit???) ![]() This post has been edited by 300078: May 16 2008, 09:51 AM |

Some new info on the macross VF-25, price is around 4200 yen (that would be RM120-130) really fair price, fully transformable not fixed model like wave make.
![]() Quata (or quarter) may also get model kit treatment by Bandai becoz of Macross Frontier Episode 7! Really cool show off! Another news tat dunno is true or not, since Bandai sponsor the anime, they grab the exclusive license of all Macross Frontier products, they might not be any 1/48 or 1/60 Macross Frontier kits available.......... |

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ May 17 2008, 09:03 AM) Hmm, judging from Bandai's usual practice (and most probably other company's too), the news should be true. Like Gurren Lagann, in which Konami is the sponsor. It took several months after GL finished b4 other company released their GL product (within those several months, only GL figure made by Konami is available). Hmm, but the studio who made Macross Frontier is not Sunrise right? Therefore there will be chance for VF-25 to be made into 1/48 or 1/60, but not in the near future (if the anime is made by Sunrise, 90% sure that the product related to the anime will not be made by other company). yah got to agree on tat point too! But they sometimes are some exception too, the Lelouch was turn in to a Figma figure instead of Bandai own Q-Joy action figure (maybe Bandai also know their figure sux)! However, i'm also glad that Bandai are the one who will made the model kit (their model kit dept is among the best; easy to assemble while producing good result, plus affordable to most people too and rarely become limited). The 1/48 and 1/60 are too expensive IMHO Among all mode i think Bandai is the easiest to build, but for those that dun want to paint it, it is also gonna be a headache, becoz it sure comes with some lacking of color and wrong color parts........but quality is the top among all model kits! Way better than wave! |

QUOTE(richard0304 @ May 17 2008, 12:55 PM) the 1/48 and 1/60 you meant are prepainted and preassembled from yamato right? so, expensive not a problem somemore bandai kits no time to build.. i think if u paid the balance amount u safe frm buying the bandai 1/72 Macross u can hire someone to do a decent paint job for the VF25 already! |
