Taking half profit probably works OK for average/beginners but .. But... Such strategy basically means one is selling a stock just for the sake of selling.... It has nothing to do with the stock potential... Which means..... One runs the risk of selling oneself short of a stock potential... And the current bull run.... Has seen many deprived of mutil baggers cos they sold to take that half profit.... On one hand it's an insurance policy of sorts... But on the other hand, one simply doesn't understand the potential of their trade/investment. |
