I want to see how u guys discuss on both your trading/investing strategies lo for Hibiscs.

I'm sure kueyteow has his reasons on why need to cheong Hibiscs right - whether based on technical indicators, fundamentals, juicy rumours, insider story etc.

WTF.. from -5-10% now +5+10% .. and that is IDX Index stocks... 

Dammit all my net did not mange to catch any at low.. 

Just my opinion only...

1. Based on current and past financials - No trade/invest.
2. Based on future prospects and oil prices - No trade/invest.
3. Based on chart - maybe yes for trading if the indicators are right supported with volume and right candlestick patterns.
4. You can ignore all the above and just ride the wave when they choose to goreng the stock. But must press sell button after making your targeted return (5 to 30% return) without being greedy and wanting for more.

Based on the overall chart, a good trader can make a few rounds of profit when the stock rebound. I believe this only applies to those who are familiar with how this counter is traded especially by management and the institutions/funds and roughly know when the goreng session will start and end.

Although there are tonnes of other stocks to trade, but if you know your stock well enough, no matter how shitty the company is, you can still make money. 

Too much volatility in IDX.. 

Err trade less?     

1. Downtrend for about 2 years since 13/12/13 at the high of 2.73 versus today of 0.68 = 75% drop
2. Each time showing lower highs, lower lows.
3. Probability of current share price going lower then the 52-week of 0.62 is definitely possible.
4. Past few day's trading volume was extraordinary/hyped up due to the announcement of proposed placement of 326.935 million new ordinary shares.
5. Given there is private placement of new shares, I believe the intention is to bring down the share price further, so that the new owner can get the shares cheaper.
6. If based on MACD and overall MA, share price still seems to indicate downtrend or sideways.
7. I'm ignoring RSI and Stochastics.

Overall, no trade for me based on the above points until I see more action on the share price and volume exceeding 20 MA convincingly with further confirmation. Preferably should exceed other MAs too.

I am not aggressive enough to scoop anything below 20 MA, unless I have a few strong fundamental facts to leverage on.

I'm still learning .... Just started to take things more seriously since last year, when I should have done that 8 years ago. Considered quite late for me, but I guess nothing is ever too late if you really want to succeed.

There is a tonne of things to learn and unlearn. So, I'm moving along slowly one step at a time. Need to learn more from Sifu like yourself and hopefully achieve 10 bagger plus one day.

I think Hibiscs chart to some extend seems straight-forward. Other counters tend to be 

Wah lau, VS results still looks damn good. Interesting to see how long some more they can continue to grow at that pace.

Funds, institutions and insiders must be damn happy with share price performance with continuous upwards goreng haha.

Yeah, noticed the uptrend started from Sept 2013 (around 1.25) until now.

Those who bought around that time and accumulated and hold till now sure HUAT kao kao d with all the dividends, share split etc.

I haven't done the IV calculations yet though to determine whether still worth to naik kereta. Might be worth the ride if do more homework, hopefully it doesn't land in Holland haha.

Too expensive to attempt to goreng. Both stocks are supposedly beyond their fair value. But, nothing is considered max price, as long as there is a willing buyer and willing seller.

I do know some people who are actually trading BAT like a normal stock.

 

For me IV = Intrinsic value
