This could mean that the factory is now churning out meteor grey as the car colours are produced in batches. So others may not have long to wait.

Yes, the loan can be signed first but the money won't be released until the car has arrived, you have paid the balance and it has been registered in your name.

Some dealers require you to pay when the car is allocated to you and arrived in PDI hence you have no chance to inspect the car first. If possible try to delay payment until the car has arrived in the shop and you can inspect the car. The car will be in PDI at most 3 days.

Of course once you pay the balance you can no longer reject the car.

The SA should work out the balance for you. Buy a Banker's cheque from your bank. It's fast and easy.

The car won't be registered with JPJ until you pay the balance. Registration is fast as it can be done online. But if you choose a number you have to wait for the number to come out.

Make sure your bank loan is signed already or it will delay your car delivery.

One more tip: Tell your SA "No KURNIA insurance!"

Trust me, you don't what this company if you ever need to make a claim.

HS or GL? If HS the 18" rims are going to sound louder than smaller rims but it all depends on the quality of the road surface.

I don't think wheel arch soundproofing will help much unless you also insulate the boot, floor and door panels as well. This means ripping off all the seats and door panels to install the soundproofing. More chance of rattles and squeaks later.

After spending a wad of money on it the sound may reduce by 30% to 40%. I would just leave it.

Our CKD M3 don't autolock at all under any circumstances.

Those brake autolock in the market now are mostly press brake to lock and unlock when ignition off. I'm not sure how the one supplied by the authorized GS Accessories work.

If you are idling put the gear in N and pull your handbrake. This system has the advantage that when you want to drop off somebody you can unlock the doors by shifting into P.

But just to be clear this autolock system by shifting gears doesn't come with the car. You have to install it as an aftermarket accessory.

You booked on 7/8/15 and getting on 15/8/15? Consider yourself lucky because some buyers waited 3 months plus for their cars.

Yes that's normal. You press down the pedal, the engine Vrooms, there is a slight lag and the car surge forward. Just a short lag, maybe 1 to 2 sec la.

No complaints about the after sales service. Depends on who will be driving the car. If it's your wife get the 2 . If it's you get the 3. If both of you, get the 3!

Mazda 3 CKD was launched in Aprl 2015. Don't think there will be a facelift in 2016.
