on the contrary, paddle shift is mandatory equipment for anyone who is younger than 60 years old for the following 2 reasons:

1. low torque at high revs. compared to golf and 308 and focus which all produce 250nm at 1500rpm, the skyactive 2.0 is weak below 2000 rpm.

2. engine braking. why wear out your brake pads and brake discs unecesarily?
u can put the gear stick in manual mode.

seriously ? do u imagine u are in a 1000hp Ferrari ? wake up man, we are driving a slowpoke 200nm/3000rpm 1400kg front-wheel drive C-segment. its not like u have a surfeit of power.

and fyi if I wanted to drag race at traffic lights I would simply need to push the throttle pedal down until it hits the kickdown switch. seems u have no clue what are the common use cases for paddle shifts.

Just installed side mirror auto flip module and an OBD module that controls auto-lock function. Works like a charm

AutoLock OBD module locks the car when its in 'D', and unlocks when shifted to 'P'. Additionally, with the OBD module, now the brake lights lit up whenever I lock the car, and the horn is activated if alarm is triggered.

The auto flip module is installed inside one of the door panel. Flips open when the engine starts, and closes when car is locked (either using key fob or button at door).

Costs less than RM400 for both, and best part is Plug and Play.

U mean the bluetooth settings at handphone or the infotainment of the car?

theres a same spot for cam on both cbu n ckd. only in cbu its got somekinda plastic covering. even if it not exactly the same as ckd , theres a part for it even mean it takes extra afford to check with japs parts? i mean isnt that the same if we need replacement parts for let say, the sunroof coz that one also need japs part coz no ckd comes with it.

With regards to the HUD, it was one of the feature that I'm rather excited about. But in reality, to me, it was practically useless unless I adjust the seat very low down.

update from azam motor sc regarding the rear cam. parts not compatible for ckd n cbu but can fitted outside n they give me accesories shop contact number.

o well. no love for early adopters then. lol. anyhoo!

Hi sifus here, my M3 will reach showroom tomolo. I will pay d cheque for d balance of downpayment. The SA told me need 3-4days to clear d cheque then onli can collect car, is tis the normal procedure r?

I did it another way , I pay my downpayment 1st . once I check my car. sign the delivery note then only call my banker to dispense money to them . (always hold something in your hand) or else SA will not layan you if u got any complaint.

I received my Mazda3 last week. My first service 1,000km is due soon. Any recommendation place to service any Mazda Service Center within PJ area or TTDI? What i need to check on the first service. Do i need to book for a slot or can just walk in?

One more thing about the I-Stop function. I realised that when the gear is in "Parking mode" and the car doesn't move, the RPM indicator does move any level below 1. Hence, the I-Stop doesn't switch on. I came to a conclusion that I-Stop will be activated when only the car is "Neutral mode" and the car does not move, the I Stop function will be activated. Is it normal?

Please advise

Meaning the I-Stop function will be applicable regardless of any mode "Parking, Driving etc" as long as it satisfies those requirements?

You are right. I also notice my car (Artic white) paint had orange peel surface if under lighting. Starting i thought i am too sensitive and thought it appear on my car only. After some day, i park beside a CX-5 which have same situation with me. Now i confirm all Artic White had orange peel finish on the whole car. For other color, i think should dont have this problem (I guess).

CKD for sure. CBU don't have artic white. How about you KennyKB? Face the same problem?
