Hi

First of all CBU (Completely Build Up = Fully Imported)
CKD ( Completely Knocked Down = Local Assemble)

I've been considering Accord 2.0 Vtil and Mazda 2.0 on my last list after 3 weeks of survey. I too travelling from JB-KL almost once in 2 weeks time. I'm 6 feet tall and comfort is everything for me. I did test drive accord and it didn't let met down. Here's my comparison.

Performance : Accord can't beat the DOHC and Fuel Saving by Mazda 6.

Comfort : Accord ftw plus you have kids now, the leg room is much more better then
Mazda, as that guy said , Mazda is driver oriented. 100% agree.

Safety = Mazda of course with 6 air bags vs 2 air bags

Warranty = Accord ftw, unlimited 5 years vs 3 years

Handling = Mazda, cornering is the best feature from Mazda.

Service Network = Accord, more Honda service network compared to Mazda

Resale Value = This is quite subjective but sure Honda still has better resale value than Mazda but Mazda is rising now due to its quality

Value for Money = Mazda, you spend for what you wanna own and Mazda has more package offered compared to Accord.

But my advice go for Accord since you are a family man. Me, after all the hustle, I choose Accord because of the RV, Comfort, and Unlimited 5 years Warranty.

P/s Have a look on comparison in the youtube and from paultan itself. Much better, go for Test Drive.

Reliability of cars are much to be desired for modern days. There are cases where Toyota cars also having reliability issues, I would say it's more towards your luck.

I owned a Nissan, Honda and Mazda. Reliability wise, Nissan still the best. Honda famous for its' suspension/wheel bearing issues. As for Mazda, still pretty new. So far so good.

With regards to you selection then, between Camry and Mazda6, I will definitely go for Mazda6. Will only consider Camry 2.0G if it comes with VSC and more airbags.

Yup I also own 2 Nissan now and previously owned a Honda. Reliability wise Nissan is much better than Honda for sure. And for Mazda I would b able to comment 3-4 years later as my family members just get a M3 recently but I would say it wouldn't be far from other Japanese made and Toyota also recognise the beauty part of SkyActive engine and going to collaborate with Mazda for their future engine development.

By the way 2.0G is come with VSC but not 2.0E which is an important active safety feature. For me I would never favor Toyota car in Malaysia in view of UMW way distributing Toyota car...
