For me I would choose Mazda 6 anytime as it is value buy from all aspect. Be it safety, driverity, performance , low petrol consumption with a bit sacrifify on harder suspension in return of better handling.
If u can afford to wait for CKD early next year expect another 15-20k down from current price
And it come with 3 years warranty and 3 years or 60k km free service which ever come first

QUOTE(juntay @ Jun 19 2015, 01:20 PM) I dunno wat is CKD, are u sure with ur price will drop next Early Year? Hi, Current Mazda 6 of CBU unit directly imported from Japan. CKD is referring to local assembled unit. Based on recent launch if CKD Mazda 3 at 125k (high specs) and 109k (lower specs) from earlier CBU unit which was selling at 139k ... thus I am making assumption when M6 is assembled here the price should drop around 15k ... The same for cx5 earlier ... first launched at 150+k for CBU unit...now the entry spec of ckd cx5selling below RM130k This post has been edited by ls71: Jun 19 2015, 01:50 PM

QUOTE(Impulse10 @ Jun 19 2015, 06:09 PM) For long travel with family consideration I would suggest teana at such price range. Teana 2.0 should hv 10k discount as of now... mean below 130k can get a basic model with 6 airbags ... a very comfortable car same as Camry if not better but 20k cheaper with extra safety features ... Camry 2.0E with price tag of RM150k not even come with VSC which is an important active safety features ... what a shame ... This post has been edited by ls71: Jun 20 2015, 11:53 AM

QUOTE(deftons @ Jun 24 2015, 02:30 PM) Reliability of cars are much to be desired for modern days. There are cases where Toyota cars also having reliability issues, I would say it's more towards your luck. I owned a Nissan, Honda and Mazda. Reliability wise, Nissan still the best. Honda famous for its' suspension/wheel bearing issues. As for Mazda, still pretty new. So far so good. With regards to you selection then, between Camry and Mazda6, I will definitely go for Mazda6. Will only consider Camry 2.0G if it comes with VSC and more airbags. Yup I also own 2 Nissan now and previously owned a Honda. Reliability wise Nissan is much better than Honda for sure. And for Mazda I would b able to comment 3-4 years later as my family members just get a M3 recently but I would say it wouldn't be far from other Japanese made and Toyota also recognise the beauty part of SkyActive engine and going to collaborate with Mazda for their future engine development. By the way 2.0G is come with VSC but not 2.0E which is an important active safety feature. For me I would never favor Toyota car in Malaysia in view of UMW way distributing Toyota car...
