Reliability of cars are much to be desired for modern days. There are cases where Toyota cars also having reliability issues, I would say it's more towards your luck. I owned a Nissan, Honda and Mazda. Reliability wise, Nissan still the best. Honda famous for its' suspension/wheel bearing issues. As for Mazda, still pretty new. So far so good.
With regards to you selection then, between Camry and Mazda6, I will definitely go for Mazda6. Will only consider Camry 2.0G if it comes with VSC and more airbags.
