yeah, same headache. gonna overpay Unifi/TNB bills to max out this month's and next month's cashback sweat.gif then keep the card as backup since there's no AF. i'd rather keep the cards instead of reapply again.

agoda transaction, same happened to me too. SMS on Saturday but captured transaction was on Friday. disputed but not yet resolved. didnt put much hope, but if got also consider bonus dy.

Any idea how to move the rebates out and cancel the card ?.. Anyone tried calling CS and asking them if can move excess funds to savings acct...

So far some options for alternate cards;
- Watami
- Wise
- Uob 1
- CIMB CR

Any other suggestions, for petrol, bills, groceries etc ?

Uob one for Petrol
MBB Islamic MasterCard ikwan for groceries
Bills?

i was thinking... bill payments via online could be benefited from CIMB CR or PBB VS (if income qualify)? not exactly sure ....

if i max my amex cashback on July for Unifi bills, i literally dont have to pay for about 8 months...

Cimb card only 2%. PBB VS cannot apply. Not rich enough. Haha... Heck, I don't even own a credit card yet.

Despite all this, I'll not cancel my Maybank cards. Yes no doubt 5% weekend cash rebate is its main attraction but it has 5xTP and Maybank has a lot of other promos.

Well, think of a brighter side, at least it still retains for dining category. Though it doesn't really benefit me because I'm already having MACH that gives me 24/7 5% dining rebate.

I'll try to add Maybank Ikhwan if I'm really that desperate and they are willing to approve my request.

That said I'm hoping that Maybank could revoke its decision though I know the chances are pretty slim.

Why cancel it? There's no AF.
Keep it and look for a better alternative card.

Who knows, in near future they revise the benefits again.

I'm still considering because I also have UniFi and TNB bill to pay... cry.gif
Worse comes to worst, maybe just stick to CIMB CR and get 2%.
Or I really need to look into HLB Wise and study how it works. sweat.gif
