Yes, both KLIA & KLIA2

Hi, I couldn't find the terms and conditions that say can enter to KLIA2 lounge. Do you mind to tell me where can I confirm this?
Thank you in advance.

Sifu Gen-X, how come your review left CIMB bank out?

Is their card no better then the rest? smile.gif

if you are saying CIMB card to enter PPL, then i dont think this is good choice.
only allow you 2 times entries per year. 1st year complimentary for you, subsequent year need to spend RM100,000 in order to get complimentary..
definitely not worth it compare to other card

I understand that CIMB have 3 types of visa infinite.

type 1 - 2 entry per year
type 2 - 4 entry per year
type 3 - unlimited (around the world too?)

compare the above with the rest of the cards out there, I would like to know where CIMB stands.

I don't think there is any best way besides than experiences share by all LYN members
in here

Credit Card Foreign Exchange Rate

or

AmBank World MasterCard - click here to read VergonDC's review at my blog.
If there is better way, do let us know  smile.gif

OK lo... I think I will still apply and cancel some of my cards. Probably Aeon Gold.

OMG... just read this...  shocking.gif

interesting!!! as im travel less than 6 times a year... this card will meet my need....  thumbup.gif

You have few choices. To name some:
1) Aeon Gold - RM 36k per annum requirement
2) RHB Plat - RM 60k per annum requirement
3) AmBank Plat - RM 60k per annum requirement

If you only want to use KLIA and KLIA2, then Aeon Gold is sufficient. smile.gif
Just a bit of work when you want to use because you need to fill in a form before you go in. tongue.gif

I recently used RHB Plat, just sign and go in. biggrin.gif

Bro, for CIMB cards without needing invitation, e.g. VS and WMC/VI, like maskedchan mentioned, need certain amount of spending to get subsequent year free entries.

However, CIMB exclusive cards like their CIMB Visa Infinite i comes with Priority Pass Membership Card that grants UNLIMITED entries., but it order to qualify for it, you need to have income RM1M. I did do a mini review of the CIMB Visa Infinite i back in 2013 in my article Credit Card Ultimate Showdown 2014 where it only managed to earn itself 6 Stars versus Maybankard 2 Cards 12 Stars, hahaha.

Another exclusive CIMB credit card is their CIMB Enrich World MasterCard which grants you 2 X FREE entries to MAS Golden Lounge but in order to get the annual fee waived in full, one needs to spend RM500K!

Gen-X, it seems that AmBank Plat and AmBank WMC are having the same PPL benefits. I don't think I wanna beg the bank to give me WMC when I can qualify for AmBank Plat.

What do you think? smile.gif

Cool! I'm having loan with AmBank and see if it allows me to have it with some FD if I'm really keen to apply one. What I like about it is the free for life thingy.

If I have this card then I can cut my Aeon Gold and maybe RHB Plat, reduces some spaces. laugh.gif Since it has good exchange rate then it can replace Aeon Gold. laugh.gif

How about AmBank Plat? I should have applied for this instead of RHB Plat...

But these AMbank card requires u to make 3 overseas swipes, so you can't use it if u are flying within Malaysia. Moreover AEON has the 0% BT facility.

Yes, there is this condition but easily fulfilled because usually when I take flights will be overseas. smile.gif
That's why I'll keep RHB Plat as well because it allows free accesses besides KLIA and KLIA2, unlike Aeon Gold.

Actually I don't know which one to cancel la. blush.gif

Keep all as long as they are FREE FOR LIFE. The moment RHB refuse to waive your annual fee, terminate it tongue.gif

Effective 20 February 2014, you get to enjoy complimentary access with a minimum of 3 overseas transactions charged to your card within 30 days before/after your lounge visit.

For first timer, what if i entered to lounge and never charge my 3 overseas transactions?
next time will not entitled to enter?
System will update and ban me from access?

pros n cons between RHB Plat Vs Aeon Gold...

Nope. The entry fees will be charged to your credit card. You will need to pay for the PPL entry fees. smile.gif

Anyway, I will try the AmBank Plat first. biggrin.gif

The rest I keep for now and need to get a cards holder to store all my cards. doh.gif My wallet is going to burst soon. doh.gif
