This thread will move faster especially few banks offer cards with PPL access for lower income earners, for e.g. me.

Gen-X Aeon Gold gives free 6x entries per calendar year to KLIA and KLIA2 PPL not only KLIA.

Please amend this.

Any good cards to recommend for PPL in Singapore and Beijing?

Cool! I'm having loan with AmBank and see if it allows me to have it with some FD if I'm really keen to apply one. What I like about it is the free for life thingy.

If I have this card then I can cut my Aeon Gold and maybe RHB Plat, reduces some spaces. Since it has good exchange rate then it can replace Aeon Gold.

How about AmBank Plat? I should have applied for this instead of RHB Plat...

Can I assume that AmBank Plat has equivalent good foreign exchange rate like the AmBank WMC?
If yes, I can terminate my Aeon Gold already.

How to check the forex rate before owning one?
I know WMC has good rate but I'm not yet that level for now, was thinking for its Plat...

OK lo... I think I will still apply and cancel some of my cards. Probably Aeon Gold.

You have few choices. To name some:
1) Aeon Gold - RM 36k per annum requirement
2) RHB Plat - RM 60k per annum requirement
3) AmBank Plat - RM 60k per annum requirement

If you only want to use KLIA and KLIA2, then Aeon Gold is sufficient.
Just a bit of work when you want to use because you need to fill in a form before you go in.

I recently used RHB Plat, just sign and go in.

Gen-X, it seems that AmBank Plat and AmBank WMC are having the same PPL benefits. I don't think I wanna beg the bank to give me WMC when I can qualify for AmBank Plat.

What do you think?

Yes, there is this condition but easily fulfilled because usually when I take flights will be overseas.
That's why I'll keep RHB Plat as well because it allows free accesses besides KLIA and KLIA2, unlike Aeon Gold.

Actually I don't know which one to cancel la.

Nope. The entry fees will be charged to your credit card. You will need to pay for the PPL entry fees.

Hard decision. Actually I'm more worried that my application will be rejected.
Anyway, I will try the AmBank Plat first.

The rest I keep for now and need to get a cards holder to store all my cards. My wallet is going to burst soon.

PPL entries are never free, just that paid by respective banks.

True. My Ikhwan Plat was rejected, I'm still sad over it.
I'm already using a mid-long wallet... I'm not that girlish actually.

RHB Plat doesn't have requirement to swipe 3 times la. That is AmBank Plat.
RHB Plat has AF ya, need RM 36k spending per year to get it waived.
Some said easy to waive. I haven't tried yet, just got for one month.

RHB Plat - Have it first because free for first year. It has free PPLs in other airports in Malaysia.
Aeon Gold also has AF and free for first year but can be waived with 12 swipes in a year. It is only free for KLIA and KLIA2, other PPLs need to pay but at discounted rate.
AmBank Plat - No AF but need to swipe 3 times before/after 30 days overseas transactions before can use for free. It also has a few overseas PPLs on top of Malaysia PPLs.

OK looks like I can try soon though my ticket is not yet bought, most likely will fly in October for my leisure trip.

I already have 8 cards now with two cards are already having PPL access but I still plan to apply another AmBank Plat because it has no AF and comes with PPL access in Beijing which I frequent. I'm not sure if my application will be accepted because banks may see me having high commitments despite I pay everything on time and full payment.

Me too in April for my Maybank Ikhwan Plat. The only card that being rejected and cannot be appealed. I can only wait till 6 months later. I also suspected BT but subsequently CIMB, HLB and RHB approved my applications with no question asked.

Now I'm already free from BT, I hope my applications will go through...

KLIA only has one PPL whereas KLIA2 has few.
