Porting to Maxis? Please wait for at least a week. Contact Maxis first, then U Mobile if you want further information

Wait for another SMS to confirm that you've successfully ported out.

The confirmation SMS is just a confirmation message to make a MNP request

Wait, you're not supposed to port out from a telco(C,D,M,U) without staying with them for at least a month.

... I didn't use any entitlements to make call, sms, data, ... so will see when first bill comes out.

ok, probably just one sms to confirm the port-out.

Despite MNP has been implemented for years, I bet most Malaysians have unsconciously associate front numbers with respective telcos, myself included tongue.gif

012/017- Maxis
013/019 - Celcom
016 - Digi

I also think that Malaysians regard 012, 019, 017, 013 numbers as glamourous. Others, not so.
