so wait, does the storyline and gameplay still stick to the same old ff7 or is this a totally new one ? hmm

IMO, they should polished up the story a bit as well, like tidy up all the loose ends
a bit more back story will be nice

Also, i hope they stay with the original turn based battle system
don't wanna them to change to the current real time free roam action style

Just wait for Square Enix press conference at E3. They might let us know a bit more.

At this point I just hope there is a release date. Typical Square Enix release trailer for a game 1% complete.

haha, let us see what he will say at the Square-Enix conference, *IF* they are going to show FF7 remake there (doubt they will show the trailer again, kinda lost its impact already)

that'll be exactly 20 years since the game came out.

they say ff7 remake is to celebrate it's 20th anniversary of the game, so it should be a 2017 game, so i hope u wrong.

I hope I'm wrong too. But we can only take a look at Squeenix's rep in the last few years, it hasn'y been rosey.
Besides, FFVII is technically an even bigger game than XV. Recreating all the assets from the ground up takes an inmense amount of time, even if they keep all the mechanics the same.

doubt it actually, but this year's E3 is full of surprises already, so hoping some surprises too from Square-Enix

so i won't be surprise if they can't even make it in 2017
