Haha what to do ..really pissed off at that time...sumore that guy told me that's special price. If stopped by the authority, tell them I'm paying 1500bath not 900bath!! Chiss...mana ada Polis in middle of canal!! Yes the photo taking is common everywhere..even in Malaysia too...just like the Genting Snow world .. biggrin.gif

If you only want to sleep at night and the hotel facilities is NOT important the check out :

www.kritthaimansion.com

the hotel is just beside "Stadium" station on the skytrain route. Opposite MBK !!!

Along the side road"SOI" there are lots of other hostel with room for double beds. A bit small but clean and comfortable. Suggest you walk along to find one you are comfortable with. Price about Bath 500 to 800 per room/night.

.......................

Bro . Stimix is a season travller to BKK . His suggestion for the earlier trip iternary is best for short trip to BKK. Lots to do if you want
to see BKK and its surrounding.

Heard of River Kwai at Khanchanapuri, Elephants walk along the river, Raft ride along the river, Dinning along river Kwai ??

Or visit the Wat which is similar to AngKor wat but near KORAT ??

Visit the dinasour grave yard near Udon Ratashima ??

But to have a sense of the local life style, Check out their beer at 40% of what we pay here. About RM3.50 per bottle ( 500ml) !! Their pork leg , thai salad, beef ball noodles, etc at their local foos centre . Usually there is one at most TESCO or Big C hyper market. Then enjoy a good cup of coffee at their local " Black Canyon Coffee" outlets.

........................................

Have a good and enjoyable trip.

I will be going to Bangkok soon for 6days 5nights. I hv 4 full days. What are the places recommended to go or worth going? I'm planning to go floating market, Ayuttha, Royal Palace. I guess I will not be bored since there are so many places to visit. Is the Tiger Temple near to Bangkok? Thanks.
