Since we are on the topic of visa to Thailand, I'll provide some brief regulations.
Visa exemption for South East Asian countries
For most members of ASEAN (not sure about the status of Myanmar though), a person travelling into Thailand for purpose of tourism does not require any visa. All that is needed is a valid passport. The duration of stay allowed under the visa exemption is 30 days. This means that any tourist can remain in the kingdom for not more than 30 days per entry. If you would like to continue your stay, you can either:
- Apply for extension at a cost of THB1,900 for 10 days - Fly out and fly back in again (also known as a visa run). This will allow you to get another 30 day visa exemption
Curbing the visa runs
Prior to October 2006, the visa regulations of Thailand have been rather relaxed, and many individuals were misusing the free visa exemptions to work illegally in Thailand. In an effort to weed out such aliens, the immigration department have tightened the visa rules.
Under the latest law, individuals from visa exemption countries will no longer have "unlimited" visa exemptions, and has been reduced to 90 days per 180 days. This means that you can have 3 visa exemption entries every half year, and once the 90 day quota is used up, you will not be allowed to enter Thailand using the visa exemption. When that happens, you will need proper business or tourist visa (applicable for a fee)
Anyway, I doubt anyone would spend more than 90 days within a period of 180 days solely for the purpose of tourism, unless something fishy is cooking.

I think u r right. Cause they do sell noodles at streets, but i always order the same old taste since day 1 i was there. maybe i dun understand them and they dun understand me too. Haha. Btw, all my trip there i ate at street vendor type. On top of the table there is sure a chili powder, chili like those nasi ayam one, soya sauce and not to forget sugar. Hell yeah, they cook everything with so much sugar.. Even i tapau their kuey teow goreng also they bundle with pack of sugar?! Dun wan to eat at restaurant cause they are too comercialise.. LOL, that's because of the 1 hour time difference. Remember, the departure time is always based on the time zone of departure port, and the arrival time is always based on the time zone of destination This post has been edited by samurai1337: Feb 16 2007, 08:30 PM
