I love their coconut..So big and only for 10 TBH. Damn worth it la..hehe

Erm, btw, i dun see much places selling Tom Yam and Nasi Pattaya when i was there. Strange. I thought they famous for this thing. The only one i got to taste tomyam is at Chatucak Weekend Market. Nothing to shout about..Hehe

biggrin.gif  that's because you had tomyum at a touristy place that's why it may not be the best.  tomyum is available in many places, even along the street vendors selling noodles.  it is just that you may not have been aware... tongue.gif

I think u r right. Cause they do sell noodles at streets, but i always order the same old taste since day 1 i was there. maybe i dun understand them and they dun understand me too. Haha. Btw, all my trip there i ate at street vendor type. On top of the table there is sure a chili powder, chili like those nasi ayam one, soya sauce and not to forget sugar. Hell yeah, they cook everything with so much sugar.. Even i tapau their kuey teow goreng also they bundle with pack of sugar?! shakehead.gif
Dun wan to eat at restaurant cause they are too comercialise..

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Thailand is the busiest floating market. I was there on Feb. It's a mess. Traffic jammed maut in the river. Hehe. Boat to boat. Hardly can move. Better to go early in the morning. I took half day tour which cost 750 THB.
Btw, i love the floating market!! rclxm9.gif
Siam Paragorn? For budget ppl like me can only test free makan makan at their food court. Haha. Ranging from Local to international, one gerai test one. After tested all, i dah kenyang. Hehe. Btw, there is ppl potong fresh shasimi salmon there. DUN forget to test that. Very sweet and fresh. BEST! drool.gif If u wan to buy it, it cost bout 1200 THB per 100g sweat.gif

For tut tut, i avoid completely. I know they overcharge. If cheap pulak sure jewelly gem punya.
Last advise if u were to go Grand Palace, there is lots of ripper out there. Becareful. They will approach u like a friendly locals and tell u that Grand Palace does not open, close for prayer blah blah. This people are conman aka ripper. Dun believe them. Grand Palace open everyday.

hi lousai, can i know what is the entrance fee for Wat Po & the fees to take boat to Wat Arun & the entrance fee. I visited Grand Palace but skip other temples coz too hot already...will try to pay a visit next time.
*
Haha, me too. Walk under hot sun for about 4 hours at Grand Palace. Leg toes coming out blister liau. So i skip Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn?) too. Btw, i think very cheap only la to go there as it's just situated opposite to Tha Tien dock.

going in june in an "all girls shopping trip" so figure better stay in chatuchak area would be more convenient smile.gif anyone have a better idea which hotel/guesthouse or inn is ok to stay there ?

prefer between RM 50 - 100 if possible as its just a place to stay and most of the time we will be out instead of staying in the room.

Best choise! Sam Lodge. Very near to Asok BST. Rm100 per night. Insist of taking Rm100 over Rm120. Same thing.. rclxms.gif
Alternatif u can take Youth Hostel near Soi 7. Very near to Chong Non Si BST Station. Rm90 for 3 person. tongue.gif
