Usually Khat (Cough) would followed by asking whether there is phlegm come with the cough.

Khat yao tham mou (do the cough come with phlegms.

Mou Tham mean No Phlegm.

If the answer is "Yao" or "Yao Tham" mean there is phlegm, then follow by asking this.

Tham meh ngan shek (what is the colour of the phlegm ?)

Wong Shek (Yellow coloured)
Cheng Shek (Greenish Coloured)
Pak Shek (White or translucent)
Yao Heut (Mean there is trace of blood)

Other come question like.

Hao Long Tong (Sore Throat)

ts need cantonese or mandarin translation?

cantonese only works for klang valley folks, seremban, pahang

if north or south folks, mandarin, they don speak cantonese

Kampar, ipoh old pipul use canto so no need mandarin

Utar student use english ok aldy can understand. Most of them banana
