QUOTE(lawrencehl @ Jun 8 2019, 02:33 PM) But is that over if I'm only use for Spotify which highest quality only 320kbit? save abit more.. get BTR3 instead.. I'm also thinking to take BTR1K but the price is double so I'm thinking do I really need that? it support the best audio bluetooth codec... BTR1K doesnt.. |

According to quite a number of headphone/speaker makers, the 4.2 sounds better than the 5.0 - of which many new bluetooth-enabled audio still sticks to 4.2.
Wait until the technology is more matured. 4.2 is good enough unless your source is loseless |

Hi, am here looking for recommendations.
I am currently using a sound card (Asus Xonar DG) with my Creative Aurvana Live! 2 (PC setup), and I love the Dolby Headphone effect with the rumbling sound on bass (the rumbling effect probably has nothing to do with Dolby Headphone though...). Been using this setup for years, mostly for music and movie. Since the Xonar DG is a PCI card (most new PC motherboard doesn't come with PCI slot anymore), so I am looking for an alternative in case I'm upgrading my PC. Before I go for the Xonar DGX for the PCIe version of it, is there any better suggestion? External AMP/DAC is fine for me but I really like to have similar surround effect of Dolby Headphone. Thanks in advance. This post has been edited by alexdark: Jun 14 2019, 08:29 PM |

Hi there, good ladies & gents.
Looking for some advice. I recently bought JBL LSR305 Mk2s and I am planning to get a DAC. Will the Aune S6 be a suitable DAC? |

QUOTE(ahmadfaizadnan @ Jul 2 2019, 12:36 AM) Hi mate.I love listening to vocals. Especially female vocals like Jane Monheit, Tracy Chapman, Norah Jones (just to name a few). As for price, the cheaper the better. Max is RM1,500. I do want the DAC to have balanced outputs though. Any recommendations? But if you're looking for better sounding amp, there are better options. QUOTE(tykimikk @ Jul 4 2019, 11:10 PM) Hi mate. We have similar sound preferences at least for those artists. Some suggestions massdrop r2r, aune s6, idsd micro bl, xduoo ta-10 and topping d50. For balanced, maybe SMSL SU-8 or Aune S6.
