No idea about Iphone 6. But i can confirm that Iphone X cannot work with E10k. No power to the DAC at all.
But my fren's phone was using a different converter. From DAC : micro usb to usb >usb to Apple 30-pin > Apple 30-pin to lightning.

Isn't the E10k a desktop amp? How much power is it going to draw from the iPhone?

For some reason , i tested on quite a few phones for E10k:
1. Iphone X - tak jalan
2. Huawei Mate 9 - tak jalan (even with the latest Android Oreo update)
3. Xiaomi Mi5 - jalan
4. Samsung Note 8 - jalan
5. One Plus 3T - jalan
6. Samsung A7 - jalan

All tested with a OTG adaptor with the provided usb cable.

How much power draw ? I dont hv an idea.

hi all sifu, just ask some question about the fiio k5.

is it possible to play my 2 speaker creative t40 and altec lancing mx5021 by using fiio k5 at the same time? maybe 1 aux front and 1 rca back? or should i buy aux cable split?

currently i plug 1 speaker back and 1 front on my desktop and it work fine. just looking for a dac to enhance sound quality.

Anyone use FiiO K1 with Samsung Note 2 before? Any issues?

Hi guys, is it recommended to buy DAC and AMP for ATH E-50? Mainly use for samsung note 8. i am new when come to DAC and AMP

it should work fine. You will have output from both channel.

I don't have K1 or Samsung note 2 but I used to have mojo and fiio e17k and still have Samsung s6 edge. The only issue is the sampling rate with mojo sometimes but work just fine with e17k.

It is pretty efficient and might not need dac amp for portable use but definitely better with dac or amp. Although, I am not sure how well will it scales.

I tried with the note 2 but not working. Guess it is not supported.

Any recommendation for entry level?

Monoprice have a similar amp but with DAC module and of course more expensive. The technical aspect of it, it looks like a great amp with very low THD, tons of power and low output impedance. Massdrop should have sent them to reviewers but I can't find any.

also has anyone tried the thx portable amp ? how is it compared to say PHA-3

I would go for the combo if the amp is similar but there is less info on the Monoprice version so I am not sure if it's really similar.
