That's why I never promote FD that is bundled with UT, If one loose money, will curse me like hell, hahaha.
Better go burn your Ringgit fast before you get less for the same Ringgit now, e.g. Cordon Bleu and Rolex (with the weak Ringgit, best place to buy a Rolex now is Malaysia).

Last week placed 2 joint FD much more that <100k  but did not ask for nego got 4.1% 12 months only.

There comes  a time when time constraint at the moment and lazy to nego. Its part of the reason why removing most of my BR Fd's for other promos. Main reason is Not Scaxxx meh ! 

When nego with BR, you nego with the manager or counter staff?

But based on my experience with BR, I think to get extra 0.5% is possible lah but the FD amount has to be more than
RM 50K.

So basically at the counter, I request the counter staff about this and get him to speak to the manager? Small people only take queue number, no direct access to manager wor.

Chased my SCB RM on the late interest for the 15 mth 4.5% FD. He apologized and said already submitted for "manual interest calculation". Why take so long ?

Not all foreign banks have good system in place.  First similar FD received interest then why second one cannot ? 

Adoi. Why your RM layan but this is the reply I got from my complaint letter to them. Why different standard?

Mine is (2) Renew principal at prevailing rate for same term, credit interest to same currency account number . Is there a difference arr? What's yours?

Last time the SCB Service Manager told me this is the first time SCB runs FD promo longer than 12 months tenure,
so probably SCB system cannot generate auto credit interest to saving account for FD more than 12 months. 

Try complaining on their Facebook page, then make sure other people like your posting
All of a sudden you will no longer hear system problem, lol!

My case for the first round of interest was never solved even after all of you got your interest as they closed it on the basis of system problem due to the issue that they chose the option (which is transparent to customer) payment of interest upon maturity after 15 mth. All I got was an apology until I wrote the formal complaint on Facebook.

Banks that offer true eFD (can do placement & uplift online)

Banks that offer online FD placement (cannot uplift online)

ii) Public Bank

I think HSBC can do online placement too but not sure if can uplift online or not.
