haha... the first one you buy this one you quoted me on... is free.. heh... should read thru first ler next time.. hehe...

basically what u need to do is

1. Get a debit card which is sold here by some company but is linked to a US bank (according to the book)
2. Transfer the funds to the bank account
3. Withdraw money from the ATM here..

wat the book is promoting the debit card and where it can be sold. if u often uses paypal then i guess it is useful...the main weakness is there is a monthly charge...if u uses paypal alot every month then its ok.....else no point...

I believe it's just a matter of time, for sending limits for unverified account has been increased from usd100 to usd1000. That happened to Thailand before they are allowed to use their local bank.

Only problem is whether paypal is able to set up a office here. Without a local office we will never get to use our local bank account.

just sell the fund at lowyat. easier.

i just placed an order with buygame2 today, first of all i must say i'm pretty spoilt
by yesasia/playasia free postage so having to pay for postage is a real pain. registered mail cost about an additional USD5 or courier mail comes up about USD15 more! on top of that, there's an additional surcharge for credit card....

that's all for now, will let you guys know how's their service and all...

If the cheapest shipping is USD5 then I think it's acceptable, considering some of the new games are a bit cheaper than PA even when including the shipping (eg: Children of Mana, Pokemon Ranger)...
