Yesasia doesn't take special order, PA ignored my letter sad.gif, Foreign TT via Maybank2u has a minimum quantity RM250...

Now the only site which takes special order and at the same time accepts paypal that I found is buygame2.com. Anyone tried it before?

Don't know about other country, but Malaysians cannot directly add fund into paypal account using credit card. I think can pay to other person's account with credit card though, but with 3% charge.

Anyway buying funds from others is always the cheapest method, not to mention it has lower rate than MYR:USD currency exchange rate.

usually i use paypal for ebay purchases onli..n watever amount is the winning bid, i just pay tat amount..so there is no 3% surchase...guess if i were to use paypal to pay online stores, they charge 3%...

Because paypal charges them for receiving credit card funds mah.
In buygame2 case, paypal cc is still cheaper than cc itself(4%)

Well, technically, if our Malaysian banks supported PayPal, we could just bank in money from our ATM/internet banking into our PayPal account resulting in PayPal Funds smile.gif

However, since that's not an option, the only way we can get funds is thru selling stuff on ebay etc or buying funds from people.

I believe it's just a matter of time, for sending limits for unverified account has been increased from usd100 to usd1000. That happened to Thailand before they are allowed to use their local bank.

Only problem is whether paypal is able to set up a office here. Without a local office we will never get to use our local bank account.

i just placed an order with buygame2 today, first of all i must say i'm pretty spoilt
by yesasia/playasia free postage so having to pay for postage is a real pain. registered mail cost about an additional USD5 or courier mail comes up about USD15 more! on top of that, there's an additional surcharge for credit card.... vmad.gif

that's all for now, will let you guys know how's their service and all...

If the cheapest shipping is USD5 then I think it's acceptable, considering some of the new games are a bit cheaper than PA even when including the shipping (eg: Children of Mana, Pokemon Ranger)...
Let's see how's their service
