anyone know which aircond smart control supports Google Home? I only know Acson currently only supports Alexa

if you are upgrading for example from 1.5 to 2 hp, check if the piping is the correct thickness

currently have a non inverter, i turn on aircond around 2 - 3am until 7am only (set timer auto off). temp at 24c with sleep mode on

So I decided to upgrade my master room 1hp non inverter daikin (free by developer) to inverter

Wanted to get Daikin FTKU series but thinking about trying Sharp as well

Both of them more or less the same price but Daikin BTU is slightly higher, 9700 btu vs sharp 9000 btu. Both have wifi function (sharp is about 200+ cheaper if go for non wifi model). Sharp have their plasma ion feature

Suggestions? What about Haier? Since its much cheaper. Interested in this model as well. 9720 btu, have features of both the sharp and daikin model, and it looks good in grey

Btw seems quite hard to find online sellers on Lazada and Shopee selling Mitsu GR series.... all JS series only

I only found this seller also but they are in JB... not sure delivery to KL need how much. GR series price seems to be 2k+, a bit over for me and havent include installation charges yet

Haier HSU-10VXA22 - No info. Only listed BTU as 9720

Price wise Haier cheapest (1k+), Mitsu most exp (2k+). Daikin and Sharp in between (1.6k+)

So its either I pay more for a really good model (eg Mitsu GR), or just save the money and get the cheapest (Haier, Midea etc)

Even my standard daikin non inverter also have this function already.... the timer is saved on the remote, everytime you turn on the aircond it will set the timer again

Only time need to reset is when the remote is low or ran out of battery

Sorry i might have misunderstood you. What you are looking for is for the aircond to turn on automatically when the timer is set?

For my daikin once I set the timer in my remote, it would send a signal to the aircond to set it (main switch have to be on). So when the time comes, it would auto on. Though I never use the auto on function, only auto off which is set everytime I turn on the aircond with remote

There's no need to bother with weekly timer etc because as long the timer is set on the remote and signal sent to the aircond its forever set until u decide to off it



Notice the Off icon on remote? That means the timer is already set and everytime I turn on the aircond it would set the timer as it is. No need to set the time again etc

for the Timer Auto On i think as long you set it on the remote and the signal was sent to the aircond, it would Auto On everytime when the time is hit and the main switch is on, no need rely on remote anymore

not sure whether it works everyday though, never used the function

maybe due to cost optimisation they either removed or moved most of these functions which are rarely used to smart apps

leave it that way and see whether it still works the same tomorrow. if yes then pretty sure it works all the time until someone turns off the main switch

If the piping already provided better check what size and diameter is it before proceed to install 2hp. 2hp require thicker pipe compared to 1 and 1.5hp

Usually developer only provide piping for 1.5hp max at living area especially for smaller sqft (>1000 sqft)

They are complaining about a feature that Mitsubishi implemented. Its annoying hence an issue. Its in the owners manual. What is so hard to understand? Your aircond might not have the same feature / issue since its an older model, and the new one is not even sold in Msia

Mitsubishi pay you money for promoting their aircond or every aircond they sell?

Bro.... i think everyone here done explaining themselves. Since this is stated already in user manual clearly this is a design decision from Mitsubishi themselves. Nothing wrong with the motor.... IT IS DESIGNED THAT WAY. If your english understanding is not good we all can understand... but dont try to say its a user issue. Yes the user can get around it like you say, but still this is due to something that mitsubishi implemented

This is shared here for everyone to know. Someone will find it annoying and someone may not mind about it.

Because it might be due to your model and our model different. Understand or not? 明白吗? No need to defend mitsubishi so hard. Nobody here say its a bad aircond, just comes with an annoying feature
