The seller said do not believes all the comments in internet liao .. Hitachi have its own aircond factory in Malaysia and easier to find spare parts .. two sellers from two shops told me this 

I have a Midea 1HP inverter air con. I just move in recently and this air con is not use often (guest room).

Today, I started it and felt that the air is not cold. When I check the drain pipe, no water is dripping out either. It was cold previously and the water drained out properly.

Do any know of you know what is the possible cause?

hi guys, need some advice, would like to get non inverter with r410 gas with 5 star energy efficient , would this be a cheaper alternative than getting inverter unit? any disadvantages?

planning on 3 units, 1 for living hall, 1 master , 1 2nd room ( apartment 1000sqf ) - piping will be doing now during reno  ( cater for inverter piping )

where and duration of use will determine what to get.
<4 hours or living hall non inverter will do

btw, for non inverter with r410a , the piping need to use inverter piping or not necessary?

Hi all,just purchased samsung 1hp inverter AR09JVFSB at senheng promo rm1311 included installation.keep monitor for few week,estimate 1 days open 10hours and electric used around 5kwh/day. is it save energy if compare to others inverter models?

Anyone has experience that the aircond roller has a lot of dust/block after 3 months? Mine is like that. Any tips to avoid the roller from being blocked?

Pretty clean as I do have nose allergy to dust. But the roller is still dirty after 3 months
I washed filter every month, door and windows are closed, but I will try your tips - keep low fan mode.

So u don't recommend that I use my concealed piping (old R22 Sanyo, use less than 10 times in 14years) with the new FTN15M-r410.

I have Thermoline (copper tubing) catalogue with me. The safe working pressure claimed under Australian Standard AS1571-1985, for 6.4x0.58mm is 981psi, for 9.5x0.58mm is 639psi, for 12.7x0.58mm is 470psi.
When I check with MHI engineer their recommended test pressure for their R410a system is 400psi. Daikin told me 400 to 450 psi.
If you check the R410a properties at 34 deg C the gas or liquid pressure is only around 290psi. In order for the system to fail, unless someone heat the gas up to 54 deg C then the pressure shall reach 470psi.

That means if you use back R22 copper tubing for R410a up to 1.5hp you still have around 60% safety factor. Of course 60% might not be comfortable if you consider others factors.

That's why I said 1hp should be ok and 1.5hp is risky.

Now my problem is solved thanks to Midea. I called them up on Monday and the CS promised me that a technician will contact me within 2 working days. I received a call yesterday from the technician and he came to fix the problem for me this morning FOC. He said that the outdoor unit was not screwed on properly by my installer hence the refrigerant leak. He refilled the gas and tighten the screw. So now my unit is cold again.

Supersound is right that the fault lies with my installer.
