Power Measurement on RAS-SD10CD 1.0 HP aircond

RAS-SD10CD Spec:

1. Standby power consumption after turn on circuit breaker: 1.08W/h




2. Turned on aircond using remote, and after temperature set to 16°C, power consumption gradually increasing, the maximum measured power consumption, is around 1250 W/h




3. Once temperature reached around 27°C, aircond temperature set to 27°C, after power consumption stabilized, the value is around 530 W/h



4. Aircond turned off from remote, standby power consumption is at 4.67 W/h

Yes, I do agreed that, from the spec, the MSY-JP13VF model is not that energy efficient.
I do a filter among R32 1.5HP aircond, by sorting as EER, the model turns out has the least EER among all, even lower than non-inverter model.

All the EER in the spreadsheet that I shared are manually calculated using rated cooling capacity and input power.
I do this because those are the information that I can get.
Some manufacturers website do included EER information, and some do not, therefore I just do manual calculation.
If you do not trust manual EER calculated value, just ignore them in the spreadsheet.

You can search the model on Lazada, 11street and Shopee, and look for the seller name.

If you want to use for long term, can consider R32, since R410A gas may obsolete after like 5 years.

For R32 Non-Inverter aircond between Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric, I think I will go for Daikin for 1.0HP, since it has higher BTU, cheaper price and only slightly higher power consumption.

I can't find that MS-HN10VA model in Mitsubishi Electric malaysia website, even Google also don't have.

One interesting from this site, after you clicked inside, and hover your mouse over the image, it shows MS-HN10VA, but the title is MS-HN10VF
