confused..

I'm looking for moisture maintaining (not remove moisture).
Is that true that nanoe-G can able to maintain moisture?
model name:  Panasonic 1.0HP Non-Inverter Air Conditioner PSN-CSV9RKH

btw, senheng is good? i saw their installation price is slightly high.
http://www.senheng.com.my/standard-installation

some said certain shop selling aircon include installation price.
my target:-

1.0 hp
RM1k - 1.5k
small room
subang area

*
hmm.gif Can't answer your moisture maintaining regarding to nanoe-G, no knowledge on it.
Not salesman or Pana engineer, can't help here.

if my living hall and connected to dining and kitchen (open area).. about 400~500 sqft..

is 1.5hp (12000btu) or 2hp (18000btu) is better? i no need super cold environment.. around 26~28 will do.. whenever friends & family coming over / super hot weather only open.. looking for inverter as well
*
My condo layout has similar to yours, living hall, dining hall, kitchen, and hallway connected, total around 420 square feet.
But I installed sliding door to isolate kitchen from the rest, although not air tight.
I installed 2HP inverter aircond, turns out alright for me.

Your condo room size almost similar to mine, lol.
My small room around 114 sqft (Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Inverter 1HP), middle room 128 sqft (Panasonic Sky Series Inverter 1HP), master room 152 sqft (Hitachi Inverter 1HP).

wow.. so many brands.. so which one u are prefer?

Panasonic Sky series is super expensive one..
*
So far I prefer Panasonic one, cooling quite fast, compare to my hitachi.
Maybe because room size different, and hence medium room cool faster.

I bought my Panasonic Sky Series around a year ago from Lazada for about RM 1523 after offset shipping fee with RM80 voucher.
Outside physical shop quoted me around RM 1.9k lowest at that time.
Here is the link: https://www.lazada.com.my/13595651.html
Price has went up since.

Edit: Update after obtained correct purchasing price.

thanks for sharing.. but im comparing Sharp inverter and non inverter.. Row 155 and row 163..
Seem like non inverter is much cost saving than inverter for monthly energy cost.. Column O

If based on logic in excel, the difference is quite minimum likely RM5 different between inverter and non inverter.. so it isnt better to get non inverter?

*Updated*
Okay i understand ady.. the tariff which is average 0.282 in excel.. but residential rate do have few categories, in case more than 200 kW, is 0.334 anad next 100 and above is 0.516 ady..
probably inverter is better cost savings in electricity?
*
In that excel I put 6 hours of daily usage, so you can adjust the number of hours on your own for your own usage.
This power consumption calculation in the excel is assuming the aircond is running at rated power for 6 hours.
Real time usage, the aircond won't run like that.

The average tariff of RM 0.282 is based on monthly TNB bill of RM 100.
There is another excel sheet at the bottom that you can click to see other average tariff, and again, adjust yourself to suit your house average monthly TNB bill amount.

for residential purposes, definitely we will expect long term usage like maybe 10 years.. so we will expect inverter will save us more money in general..

I always looks at energy rating sticker on air cond.. basically 1HP inverter is 5 stars with about 1500kW consumption per year while non inverter is 2400~2500 kW consumption..

in long run, i believe inverter is cost efficient in electricitybill since diff tariff rate.
yeah very useful excel sheet in this table.. too bad i cant view form my wokring laptop.. but based on your assumption, really not much different between inverter and non inverter.. im struggling which one to go.. but tonight i will make the call and proceed the payment.. ty for your worksheet.. i suppose inverter may running at lower rated power like maybe 600w after reach certain of duration.. so indirectly will affect total consumption and reduce the cost..
*
If your room can be air tight when aircond is turned on, with no direct sunlight exposure and not much heating source elemtn, I would say go with inverter for that room.

Reason being, temperature can drop fast and then inverter aircond can reduce power consumption once set temperature reached, and the aircond can run at minimum power consumption to maintain the set temperature in the room.

Hello,
I’m just wondering if I’m still able to purchase the ‘older’ aircond s to replace my ageing ones.  Due to limitations, I’m unable to re position , re pipe , etc.
Any info would be helpful.

Thank you 🙏
*
What is your 'older' aircond brand and model?

Yes. This seller. He did called me for giving me advise too. Initially want to buy sharp one. But I prefer York plus able to use RM 200 coupon.

Any review or feedback to this seller? Positive or negative?
*
I bought my York 2HP from this seller, good.
Last time they use nationwide express to ship my aircond, one consignment number but two separate parcels, indoor and outdoor unit.

Did you compile all the information on the air-conditioners in this Excel spreadsheet? I just downloaded the document and can see it's some extensive work done. Great work especially on the calculation on the monthly and yearly operating cost of the air-conditioners based on rater power and electricity tariffs. Though I noticed the prices of the air-conds indicated in column "J" are quite a bit higher than the actual selling price at the shops.
*
Yes, I compiled them from various sources online.
Those are reference price only, you can adjust the price on your own, so as other parameters such as number of hours use per month and monthly average tariff.

Why is this shop selling cheaper than the others?

Maybe because new model is already out, the R32 version of Sky Series.

I made a specs comparison between those two models but there are not many differences in specs and features, where the R32 has the nanoe X not the R410A.

So, it's safe to get the R410A version?
*
I think they added the new nanoe-X feature to let consumer to have reason to buy the new model instead of old model.
If no new feature added, the price differences between the new and old model will just make consumer goes to the old model.
The R32 and R410A does not really make significant difference, unless you are really a earth lover.

The new model consume 30W/h less rating power than old model, while keeping the same BTU/hour.

The new model currently should be selling slightly more than RM 2000, while the old model currently is selling around RM 1500.
It depends on how you look at it.

Hi...anyone here use Acson before???
I heard that both acson n Daikin are from same manufacturer...is it true??
N how abt the warranty n after sales service for these 2 brands??
*
I kind of suspect Acson and Daikin airconds are from the same manufacturer because I noticed that some aircond models have same specifications.
