why?

If you really wan save energy, you need to set temperature at 24c 25c.. some living room is attached open concept kitchen with Aircon need longer time to achieve desired tempature then only will slow down compressor.. it will not save much energy

for same fridge capacity  the invertor one saves power  about 3x more.
means  you have about 70 %  power saving compare to  non.

it is depend how you use it.. to save more energy, dont always open fridge door...
especially you have small kids at home which they like to opne fridge door then may not able to save more energy.

Anyone here have experience with a multi split air-cond system?

I'll probably need at least 6 air-cond units for my apartment and don't want the hassle of looking for ways to accommodate 6 compressor units. Been looking on the web and with Daikin (the only brand I know that has multi split), I can get away with just 2 compressors.

Daikin is famous for multi split which many singapore HTC also using Daikin multisplit unit due to restriction by gov. My relative house is using it, so far no issue. But the weakness is once outdoor breakdown, all aircon cannot works. but if you have 2 compressor then should be okay la..

Thanks for your reply. If you don't mind me asking, has the outdoor unit ever breakdown in your relatives' place?

So far never hear about breakdown..but I guess Daikin provides 5 years warranty on the compressor.. at least no need worry within 5 years..

Good idea bro, gonna test it out tonight. I have stuffs like Tower fan, lamp light and 2-3 others all connected to wifi...By the way, how did u connect yours? Manually or scan barcode? I checked the barcode inside the unit, cannot scan...Warranty car also cannot haha

I was browsing through youtube for the guide and found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9cKEFpPXUo

one of the reply by daikin to connect is

scan from warranty card

1. Power supply to aircon is switched ON
2. Bluetooth on your Phone is ON
3. Location on your Phone is ON
4. Using Network 2.4 GHz only (Cannot use 5G Network)
5 Key in 2.4 GHz Network name manually without clicking the search network button.

thanks i already called, funny thing is the aircond seller told me daikin is out of stock while panasonic got a lot

One thing I want to confirm is

the seller said daikin do not have extended warranty where if u buy daikin ac, u will get 1 year warranty dan 5 years compressor warranrty (bear in mind not included the sub component in compressor such as capacitor and etc)

but for panasonic will get extended warranty for 4 years for around RM250.00 (that why many installer never propose pana model)

Is it true

the seller said although daikin is from japan but the production is in Malaysia

now thinking to switch back to panasonic xdeluxe

Any advise? ceo684
