Any comments for brand Acson???

Heard that it is same as Daikin, but how’s the after sales services??
*
Both of them also manufacturing same company which they have different R&D team for their products.. I don't mind to pay little extra from Daikin as they got better technology from Japan..

Hello all sifus

So planning to change 2 air cond units at my house, both have served 10 years ish.. both are inverter units.

I gather that R32 is the one to get now? Any recommendations for R32 Inverter units to get?

Panasonic dosent have R32 units yet right? So is Daikin R32 Inverter the best right now?

How is sharp?
*
Daikin is first aircon company to launch R32 aircon since 2012 so they have sold more than 10million qty worldwide.. definitely I will go for Daikin

Hello all pro, wanna ask daikin infinity premium inverter series (FTK10T) better or Panasonic aero series (S10TKH) better ? Both R410A ... prices just difference of RM10
*
if you wan to compare Daikin Infinity Premium Inverter Series, please use Panasonic Sky Series coz Daikin Infinity Premium Inverter Series is the premium series with human sensing feature, plasma etc..while Panasonic Aero Series is normal inverter model..

If the price just different rm10, straight away go for Daikin infinity premium inverter series

So, the R32 GAS is cheaper than GAS 410A ?
*
The R32 is single component of gas while R410A is mixture of gas.. thats why R32 will be cheaper...
Currently my room using Daikin R32 aircon, i can feel it is cooler compare to my old R410A aircon...

I am one of the “opportunist”.
Managed to grab 9 Daikin ACs, 18 Alpha fans, 1 Fanco fan with chandelier and Inovar Laminate floor before SST. All items kept at the shop.

Hopefully the savings worth the effort put and investment.
Monies go out like waterfall 😢 ... have to work more harder after this.
*
you are so lucky... most of my frens cant get Daikin aircon during last week of Aug as dealer said many people buy stock to keep for new house.. but wat to do, they are just too last minute purchase.

I would go for Acson/Daikin cassette if I were you. More even distributed airflow than a wall type.
I thought cassette 2hp and above usually comes with built in pump?
*
How about Panasonic cassette? I seldom see shop using Panasonic cassette. So far only see Daikin or Acson. Subcon mostly recommend Daikin as it is more durable and easy to do maintenance.

hey guys, good morning. i'm planning to change my room's antique Singer AC which I don't even know what gas it uses LOL to a new AC due to power consumption issues. Tho I still really like it xD
anyways, I only turn it on during the weekends like for about 20hrs total.
Question is:
1) Inverter or Non-Inverter? Pretty rhetoric, but yes, which one ? XD
2) Which brand and model? I saw from the excel file (thanks to all those who updated it), is the Hitachi RAS-F10CJ a good buy? Any reviews? Prices on parts etc?

Thanks!
*
1) for energy saving, please go for inverter since you mentioned the reason you change AC due to power consumption but make sure you set 24/25c to have better saving.

2) for me, i will prefer Daikin as very good comment from my contractor due to its quality and easy maintenance. Some brand quite cheap but hard to find parts and its very expensive (maybe due to import from oversea)..

Hi All sifu,

I am planning to install a/c at new house.
Shall i go with R410A gas since it is cheaper?
*
Hi, the R410a gas sooner will be replaced by R32, why not just buy R32 aircon instead. The gas is more efficient. Thanks

My installer smoke when doing R32 refrigerant measurement, it didn't fire up or explode...
*
R32 is “mildly flammable” classification but under normal, everyday circumstances, R32 possesses no risk to the air conditioning systems or work environment. it is equally as safe to use and this gas is extremely difficult to ignite. R32 has been used since year 2012 by Daikin

Hi, if i have an old Haier aircon (hsu-12LE08) in my rented unit and the electrician said the compressor is spoilt, is it worth to repair it? Basically he disconnected the compressor wire from the aircon and the electric did not trip. Do they need to check the compressor to confirm?

He recommended to change a new one since it is an old model, what do you guys think?
*
Changing compressor easily cost you more than RM400/500, better get a new one, somemore got warranty..

is samsung A/C after sales reputation good? i come across with samsung S-inverter A/C which give 10 years warranty to compressor that sound attracting to me. i wan to install that in my photography studio
*
Samsung service depend on product, if aircon, perhaps you need to wait longer time when come to warranty claim as i dont think they will keep alot parts since they like are selling alot like Daikin etc.

yeah, my aircond man telling me this too. I have not much choice now because my shop need 2 unit of 3HP aircond, so choices has got down to daikin, panasonic and gree only. i think i will go for daikin since the parts are available here all the time
*
I think you made a right choice.. like my case my fridge is rosak and i need to wait one month plus to get the spare parts... it is a nightmare.. thats why i must check with seller parts readiness..

Guys want to ask your for your recommendation.

Im planning to intall a 2 HP or 2.5HP in my living room. Any model to recommend ?
*
Go for Daikin FTV-A model https://www.daikin.com.my/daikin_products/ftv-a-series/
I will not suggest install inverter at living room.
