Hi Sifu here, is inverter unit really save electric bill? Planning on purchase Panasonic 1.5 inverter cost rm 1900 include installation or daikin 1.5 inverter RM 1900. or just stick with non inverter unit? Square feet 19.5 X 22 = 429. not remember the height (for master bed room)

Is it really confirmed? Even so I'm sure there's demand there will be supply. Don't think the millions of owner will change unless the gomen really emphasize on it. It's a risk though. So I'm still considering...

Is it true that cassette ceiling type aircond got a lot of probelms?

Am considering ceiling type a/c for my open living ground floor (combine dry kitchen, dining & lounge area), approx 800 sq ft area. Is 3 hp sufficient or I need 4 hp to cool this area?

Hi sifu-sifu, currently want to upgrade R-22 unit to R-410A unit. A few people told me can re-use the copper pipes, but some said is dangerous and will ruin and rosakkan the new A-410A aircon.    What do you guys think? If can re-use is best, coz very hard to hack the walls again... THANK YOU.

Seems like some include it in standard installation but some don't include it
2 installer quote me 200 which seems like a nice price, but add 80 bucks for wiring

where do you link your discharge pipe?

Hi, any of you considering VRF or VRV type air cond in residential? Any information to share, is it more efficient and economical?

Already completed, now considering renovation planning phase 
Generally required 10 to 12HP to cover the whole house. Around 8 units. 
Let's say 1HP aircond is 1.5k, so should be about RM15k for all the aircond
Considering vrv because it will be great to install on the flat roof, so the house exterior can be nice
Research daikin have vrv system in this range
the problem is their indoor is customize, no idea how the process  of mix and match

Now is to find if the price is OK

I'm more curious if daikin was really that bad? As in really that loud and that many strange noise as they'd mentioned from user experience?

These referring to York's model equivalent? Even those are ok.
If they refer to high fan mode noisy, all are like that. Use only set temp and compare.

In my old condo, bedroom no fan point. Relied on then Thai made Daikin R22 inverter. Set to 26°C. Very quiet at set temperature which it maintained. I hear traffic from outside my window than my AC (rated 26dB). That AC has sleep mode and compressor quiet mode. Slept right under AC.

That AC has five fan levels and fan only (air circulation) mode. Only thing is not equipped is anti mould cleaning after use which the newer R410 gas inverters have.

Btw, all AC compressors are noisy outdoors. None below 44dB as far as I've surveyed. That's quieter than many washing machine if putting things in perspective.

My existing piping is for 1hp aircon. Can i upgrade the aircon to 1.5hp aircon without change piping?

I was told not possible as the 1.5hp aircon pipe is wider.
