2. Install 2x 1HP airconds in living room?

Yup. 1 unit should be fine. Save money for maintenance and installation.

This you check with lazada. Mostly air con distributor are from Selangor. I don't think they will travel to penang just to help.you to claim the faulty parts.

Yeah, i know the "uhmm" sound is supposed to go loud and slow down (which is fast speed and med speed and low speed).

What i don't understand is that when it slows down, there seems to be a 'kreeek kreeek' sound, which sounds like a belting issue (which normally a healthy dose of WD40 would solve it).

I'm gonna talk to my installer (because i bought it at another place, its rural where I stay, so installer doesn't sell airconds, just installs them), but I thought of asking here to see if anyone know what's exactly the issue.

My 8 year old 1.5hp Panasonic inverter coils have frozen up and blocked and was quoted around rm 1150 to get everything fix.
But my family wants a brand new aircond instead of repair.

We already have a Mitsubishi 1.5hp and 2 Panasonic 1.5hp deluxe models and 1 Panasonic 1.5hp basic model. 

Since we tend to prefer our room very cold instead of just cool, which air conditioner would be best for the job?
I believe many deluxe models advertised as saving electricity affects the coldness performance by aiming for coolness instead.

I am not interested in automatic features anymore. I just want plain cold air as we are sports oriented family and so we need cold not just cool air

What about 2hp - Daikin or York or Panasonic. 

Which aircond is best to produce really cold air? 

Not interested in energy savings.. ...JUST COLD AIR NOT COOL.

1 - Buy Non Inverter Aircond 1hp (lets say York brand) - RM 750 (Lazada price)
2 - Buy Inverter Aircond 1hp (mitsubishi or Pana) - RM 1,500 (Lazada price)
in a long run let say 3 years plus maintenance cost which can save moneh the most?

if item 1 can save RM 750 divide by 3 years(36 months) I can have extra RM 21 to pay my TNB bill
if item 2 fork our additional RM 750 (compare to non inverter model) so theoretically I should have lower TNB right? by how much ?

Hello wanna ask normally install new air cond need to refill gas d o not? My installer said no need to refill gas coz inside already have.. Anyone can confirm this?

Your model is premium inverter (ARxxHVSDB)? Just wanna confirm because I called up samsung careline and they told me something entirely different.

I see. They gave me 2 models which they said already obsolete.  Samsung Malaysia Web didn't have me much info. I saw Samsung Australia still list the smart inverter which support wifi function but none on Malaysia website.

Looking to replace my 10-year old Panasonic Non-inverter AirCon 2.0hp.  Someone suggested Daikin non-inverter.  One shop quoted RM1980 without installation.  Location is Damansara Perdana (near IKEA PJ).

Any comment on price quoted and brand? Recommendation for a trusted supplier (shop; not online) welcome. Thanks.
