“My staff here are absolutely critical to what we’ve done,” Rodger's said when the Reds were flying high in April 2014. “I couldn’t do it on my own.”

looks like another quote of his gonna haunt him now...

he was misquoted la. What he really said was "My stuff here are.." tongue.gif

Suarez just won CL.

As much as I hate to say it, can we even blame Sterling for rejecting a contract with Liverpool?

If he goes to Real Madrid, which is also stupid, right? Rafa is stupid for taking up the Real Madrid managerial post.

How do you stop the greatest football team in the planet, the perfect team closest to every gamers fantasy football? Sure Real Madrid won the CL the and la liga previous 1-2 seasons back with Carlos ancelotti. That when Barcelona had problems internally, messi own affairs was messy.

But that's where lies ambition . Ready for the challenge. Risky but its where it separates big boys with ambition with boys with plastic spades only wanting to play at the sand box.

I don't think many realise nor have an understanding of the above mention

Pako Ayestaran? under him we had one of the most physical regimes. Too bad his divorce with Rafa broke up one of the most effective managerial partnerships.

Pako Ayestaran is emerging as favourite to succeed the sacked Colin Pascoe as Liverpool assistant manager.

He only has himself to blame. At this point I really don't want him to stay already. For the money we can get for him we can get more talented and focused players.

that was quite a pitiful performance from england.
hendo again on the right...but often drifting in...had one real good break which rooney then fluffed with a bad first touch.
sterling was mostly invisible in the early parts, while lallana became invisible later on.

milner had a decent game but in the dm role again...zzz...and that is what i guess brenda will probably do also...

looks like the future of england is just as dull as lfc...or vice versa.

Yup, I know what you mean.

A lot was said rafa Benitez is nothing without Pako ayestaran.

It's kinda misrepresentation, I suppose those throphies with intermilan, chelsea, napoli were, well must have been "gifted" to rafa Benitez led teams. Sure they weren't the champions league trophy but they were nontheless respective domestic trophies & Europe cups.

Something we haven't been able to reach since KD in recent times.

Pako ayestaran can help/assist but let's get over our heads. The gaffer has a big(gest) say to the teams selection plus overall tactics.

Everyone (besides manager) has a contribution but if the manager is clueless on dealing with opponents n changes after changes of tactics within A game, he is grasping on thin air.

Sure, FSG has faith in him. But He is clipped in the sense where the backroom staffs were "sacrificed". Were they (back room staff) hand-picked previously by Liverpool fc (FSG) and not of dodger's own? As couple have suggested? Supposedly according to some, now Rodgers has a better rein (to dictate more) after the debacle from last season. As if he was chained as a manager in 3 previous seasons, now the shackles are off.

You tell me, Colin pascoe was from Swanseafc, you tell me. And if previously Rodgers didn't "hand-pick his own trusted back room staff" then, doesn't that also mean he was just a puppet, before?? right? then what some of us have been saying are given more credence.

I don't get it? Many have accused several of us being too tough on Rodgers. Everytime we brought up of Rodgers insipid performance, we labelled traitors.

Now, some changes are made of the backroom staff, excuses made, those fellas weren't brought in by Brendan, same excuses the transfer committee has all the say on transfers (failures). No fault of Brendan's.

JHC

Really bangau. Bila dapat 2nd place, ALL credit saja dia dipuji.

To be winner is not just good player, good facilities, good money. But the most we need is we need good soul.
We are lacking of soul.
I don't mind mid player table, but we need Liverpool soul in each player. Yes we don't have big money and big players, what you can say with our current squad? nothing much different. But I don't see each player has the soul.
We must remember we are Liverpool, we must maintain our tradition.

When u have manager like BR, clueless at all times, and tends to play you out of your best position, , its natural you lose the soul. Same shit as your boss hires you as an engineer, you thought you will be fixing nuclear reactors, but end up, you are assigned to administrative work. Naturally, you will lose your passion and confidence too.

When thing goes wrong, get spacegoat to blame.
When thing right, get all the credit.
Always sweet talk the boss + excellent interview.

This is the essence to climb up the hierarchy ladder.
I think many already get use of this in corporate world... whistling.gif
