So, for another time... I explain about proxies and the 219 range compared to the other IP ranges. He put me on hold after all that.

The one thing that I couldn't explain is that during the last 3 weeks and if you've been following the threads, there is one particular day that IP219 suddenly becomes LAG FREE. I was playing WoW with 500-700ms pings. Just that one day. The next day, back to the same old >1k pings. Strange. That one day nobody was online?

I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet. The above demonstrates TMnet realising that they can get less complaints from people who did not check latest news. And the fact that they dumped most people on 219s, their temp solution is to throttle the bandwidth for the majority's benefit.

Lets not forget these servers are temporary routers and we're pinging at 1:00 AM in the morning on a Friday night. During the day, it should be completely different story.

It only makes sense to pass judgement when they officially announce they've completely (and supposedly) nailed the current issues.

Agreed we shouldn't flame them for the SEA cables. But we should blame them for not giving a single update on the repairs. People had to resort asking third parties like REACH and Singtel for news.

Lostboy, your attitude towards the issue is a perfect explanation why we had the WoW problem in the first place. Malaysia has a backward position because the people themselves willingly "take crap".

I condemn TMNet customer support because they don't measure up to the service that ISPs should provide.
I condemn TMNet's lack of effort in giving the proper IT infrastructure we deserve. My tax money is better spent on charity.

I post my rants on this thread because most people in online gaming understands what real lag is. Whereas, the official streamyx rant thread is catered for everyone.
