QUOTE(gooni3 @ Dec 2 2011, 06:43 PM) clian, my lecturer advices the same Thanks for the suggestion.we should either bring an extra calculator, or screwdriver + batteries if you are using the ba 2 plus if u are using the ba 2 plus PRO, then you don't need a screwdriver, just batteries i agree that the chances of ur calculator dying is close to zero. But.. WHAT IF? then you are screwed. Bringing extra calculator brings no harm. There could be other possibilities that calculator don't function, it is not necessarily only due to battery.. even if you change it right before the exams Since fino will be going to support.. maybe he could loan you his calculator and you treat him drinks in return instead? I have just borrowed an extra calculator from a friend. Added on December 2, 2011, 11:03 pm QUOTE(fino_abama @ Dec 2 2011, 01:53 PM) Either malfunction or battery dies, the chances are very low. I have a Texas BA II PLUS PRO which I bought in 2008 and have been using it till now (even the recent Level 1 in June'11). I have never changed the battery (still the same one that came in the package). I can guarantee nothing will happen to yours although yours is Basic (unless you have a habit of dropping calculators). Kinokuniya do not sell Texas Instruments anymore.I bought mine at Kinokuniya, and I believe they are still selling it. This post has been edited by CLian: Dec 2 2011, 11:03 PM |

Better an additional calc when you go for your Level 2. =)I have just borrowed an extra calculator from a friend.
