It's a gathering for Noesis students only. We have a gathering after every exam. It's going to be fun! =)

clian, my lecturer advices the same

we should either bring an extra calculator, or screwdriver + batteries if you are using the ba 2 plus

if u are using the ba 2 plus PRO, then you don't need a screwdriver, just batteries

i agree that the chances of ur calculator dying is close to zero. But.. WHAT IF? then you are screwed. Bringing extra calculator brings no harm. There could be other possibilities that calculator don't function, it is not necessarily only due to battery.. even if you change it right before the exams

Since fino will be going to support.. maybe he could loan you his calculator and you treat him drinks in return instead?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I have just borrowed an extra calculator from a friend. biggrin.gif

Either malfunction or battery dies, the chances are very low. I have a Texas BA II PLUS PRO which I bought in 2008 and have been using it till now (even the recent Level 1 in June'11). I have never changed the battery (still the same one that came in the package). I can guarantee nothing will happen to yours although yours is Basic (unless you have a habit of dropping calculators).

I bought mine at Kinokuniya, and I believe they are still selling it.

Kinokuniya do not sell Texas Instruments anymore.

Good to hear that you were able to borrow an extra calculator. Better an additional calc when you go for your Level 2. =)

Make sure the eraser has no cover and don't bring in the HB pencil box, or whatever item that you can write your notes on.

Happened to me....

No working sheets given. The only thing you can scratch on is the question booklet. You can bring the pen in if you want (and if the proctor does not object)

You're still in college, why worry about it now?

If your overall score is 69, I am afraid you will blame yourself for failing ethics tongue.gif .
