It's definitely tougher. You'll need to put in much more time compared to your Level 1.

Studying only on weekends from Jan? How many hours can you put in per weekend? About 20 weeks only to the exam. That sounds like suicide to me. I'm not doubting you but it's risky doing that.

Best way to study is of course going through the textbooks. I'm doing that too. If you are planning on weekends only, better get Schweser or Stalla guides, cause I don't think you can finish reading the textbooks in that time period. All the best!

P/S Are you taking the Research Assistant job?

Working in research house is not that busy till you need to work till 1-2am everyday. Probably happen during corporate announcements season when you have like 3-4 results in a day.

You can try to wake up early and study for 1-2 hours everyday before you go to work (though i never did so).

hahaha, im biased towards public bank (some of my family have an account with them)

not very familiar with alliance bank. i don't associate myself with something i don't really know very well

i'm not racist but public bank seems to be more of a Chinese bank ( they probably squeeze u and u might learn more from that )

hehehe. i heard last year they added technical analysis in quantitative methods.

That means, level 1 -ers are now expected to be able to call HEADS AND SHOLDERS hahahaha.

My colleagues all struggling very hard. o.O still 6 months to go till June.

Yeah, technical analysis is now added into Quantitative Methods but the coverage is very superficial.

6 months will be over very soon.

I'm sitting for Level 2 in 6 months' time. I should be more scared. Best that you finish studying 2 months before exam so you will have enough time to revise.
