This is true as far as I know, as my sister needed to get office experience too even after getting her degree from LSE several years back.

But I was wondering, according to the website you can take the exam of course at the final year of your bachelor's degree, and even if you pass the exam you would still need to fulfil the industry experience requirements to obtain the title CFA, am I right?

For CFA course fees, Kasturi is charging approximately RM4,100 per year (per level).. Hence, total of 3years (3level) would be around RM12k++

Suria College is a good option for those who are looking to enroll into the CFA course. The lecturers are really hardworking and dedicated who are very committed. They are also qualified themselves, holding CFA qualification with years of experience.

The best part is they give more hours of lessons and practice of Q&As than any other college that runs CFA classes. the large number of Q&As give you a thorough understanding of all the subject areas in the syllabus and the ability to answer the questions correctly in the 3 hours exam.

Besides that, their approach is really good, they go through a large number of Q&As immediately after completing the lecture on each subject area. It allows the students to understand the subject thoroughly and very well. They also provides simplified study materials that are focused on the learning outcomes that the CFA institute requires students to achieve in the examination.

Plus, the fees they charge for CFA is the MOST affordable that you couldn't find anywhere else. For their CFA Level 1 classes, they are only charging RM3502. This is including study materials, also include those Q&As. No extra cost is charged to their students. They has a complete set of all the books that are required reading for the CFA examination program.

Another good thing is they control the size of the class very much in order for the lecturers to pay enough attention to each student. The lecturers are superbly patient. The maximum number of students in a class is 20. Compare the price you pay and the attention you get. It's really worth it.

Their schedule is absolutely flexible. They have the classes run for part-time. Students can choose the weekday evening classes or weekend classes. What's more, the principal of the college even involves in teaching for he's very experienced, a highly sought after lecturer. No one can be more motivated and committed to the success of the college's programmes than the owner.

Actually, Suria College has been in operation for more than 18 years as a licensed higher education institute. In addition to the CFA classes, they also conduct classes for ACCA, CAT, Certificate in English Proficiency.

So yeah, check out the college and the courses offered. It is located in Plaza Pantai, nearby Menara TM and Mid Valley Megamall. You can get to the college by LRT. It's just located in front of it. Very convenient for anyone to get there without having to worry about transportation problems. smile.gif

Can anybody explain further about this CFA? I heard about CFP before, but not CFA. How much the fee to take the course? Any requirement to take this exam? How long the duration of courses?
*
CFA Level 1 approximately RM6600. RM3700 + RM2800 exam fee. first exam is more expensive cos must pay for registration fee. Level 2 & 3 is RM5500 around there.

Damn difficult, June 2006, only 8% Malaysian pass out of 600++ people who took the exam

Nice details.
No experience required as I am a Uni student and I am taking paper 1 now.
Passing rate for Paper 1 is not that low, but I am not sure about the following papers.
If I am not wrong there are 5 papers, not 3.
*
There are only 3 papers. Level 2 has changed the format to objective. Level 3 is combination. Subjects covered are like coprorate finance, fin statment analysis, statistics, economics, ethics and proff stds, portfolio management, equity evaluation and fixed income market.
