If I tag a iptv vlan to wifi on main router, then use repeater and connect the iptv box via ethernet, i wonder if the hypptv will play?

anyone ever tried this setup? I've tried connecting the iptv via wifi tagged vlan, but doesnt work anymore.

It works but most user reported WiFi is unstable, hence intermittent quality

If you plan to put box far from router - i suggest use the powerline ethernet plug.

have u all got "laggy" video problems? the sounds work just fine.. for hypptv channel.. play using Kodi/iflix/AoT just fine.. even using hyppTv everywhere also just fine

For the UnifiTV channels? Yes. Happens a few times. If a reboot doesn't solve it. Then can't be helped, just have to wait and see. Usually resolves itself in hours or days.

have u tried allowing few seconds after streaming for the video to stable 1st?

it is this unifi tv box not support h265 ? everytime watching live tv with h265 screen is black, watch other without h265 is ok, h264 also OK.

No it doesn't.. H.265 is a much higher compression standard and requires higher processing power.. Which this box can't give..Next time, please search the thread first. The box is severely underpowered and restrictive.. I always advice junk it or reserve for UnifiTV alone and get a better box.

in my case, it always happend.. first i suspect the "video decoding" problem as the channel is pretty much HD ( the hypptv constantly streaming at 10mbps compared to iflix which is 4mbps )

but then my HD movies play just fine using Kodi installed into the STB...

this has been long time since im using the built in Hypptv.. need to use it since Astro On the Go wont launch anymore ( latest 8.2.4 update ) on the STB.

Can login astro go 8.2.4 today still?

Contact TM's support for more assistance.. But before that, try to record the issue when it's happening, incase it's difficult to reproduce when a technician shows up.

I have installed kodi in the hypptv using neptune rising add on..
Slow loading ans buffering..currently using 30mpbs unifi.

On speedtest on my mobile

Ping :7ms
Dload :30mbps
Uload : 10mbps

Then i installed speedtest on hypptv box...suprisingly.
Ping : 10ms
Dload : 1.2mpbs
Uload : 0.63mbps

Wifi signal check using apps installed in the hypptv... -50db (very good)

Is this normal on hypptv box..slow wifi dloading and uploading caused the streaming slow using wifi??
