Hi just having problem with hyyptv , once start up it will go to home page (media,apps,hyyptv) but after selecting hyyptv it shows 'unable to display' -please reboot, if fails call 100.
Tried rebooting few times with same result, on setting page network cable shows connected. Is there any tips before I called 100, really dont want to extend contract, Tq.

Is the STB connected to the right port on the main router? Standard connection and not through some power plug, etc.

Yes, direct connection, it only happen this evening after coming back from work.
Nothing disturb prior, normal internet works normally

Can't swipe: When you swipe on your smartphone, do you touch the screen and swipe or press a d-pad button to move around? So, what piece of PC equiptment can do the same on a PC screen? Yes... It'll hit you soon.. .. When it does, get one too.

Hey... You don't have to go all out with it.. A cheap mouse will do. However, if you want a more media-centric device, then get an airmouse or a small bluetooth keyboard with a touchpad included.. Examples are like the Mele F10 Deluxe Airmouse, Minix Neo A2 Lite/A3, the iPazzport Mini Wireless Keyboard or the Rii i8+... Etc.. These are cheaper and should work out of the box..

can't watch youtube on hypptv due to no network connection playback id error

Welp, that YT is a big PITA. However you can sideload apk or install it using Google Play

Must the stb me connected to the main router? Isit the main unifi router or wireless router? Is there a specific port of hypp tv on the router? Sorry, I just got this box an am still setting it up. Any help will be really appreciated.

The ideal/standard setup is that the STB be connected via ethernet cable to LAN port 4 on the main/TM supplied router. Some have been able to get it to work wirelessly, but will require extra equipment.

Lan connected wifi disconnect immediately , if unplug cable, wifi connected! Anyone experience?

Edit : Forgot there's a way to boot to recovery. I've fixed the problem by downgrading to clean everything, and let it update to the latest firmware.

Hmm I keep seeing people said there's an update that will remove any sideloaded apps.
I didn't disabled auto update and all my apps still intact, but now I can't uninstall Iflix that was previously sideloaded, which makes me believe that my STB actually has been updated.

The problem is my Iflix keep saying wrong username or password. No idea how to fix it.
Wifi enabled. DNS on router already changed to default TM DNS. When I run network test, always failed (red X) at the DNS connectivity. I guess that might be the reason?
So I want to see if I can open any website, but Browser crashed on launch...

I want to to do factory reset, but the maintenance code has changed? No idea what to do now.
Any other suggestions on what should I try while waiting for answers from tmconnect ?

look like the Tvbox is pre set to connect to some IP address to the modemn. no too sure how to disable it. Think this Tvbox is screwed up to connect some channel.

Whats the default passcode to reset this stb?

Hi, need some help regarding Huawei EC6108V8 and Unifi Hypptv.

Been using the old first version of HyppTV STB.

But now i got a used Huawei EC6108V8. Looking for ways to make use of it and atleast access the Hypptv Channels.

Need some help from here.
Looking forward to install Google Play and Kodi later.

All i can see here is that somehow the used Huawei EC6108V8 STB still having the old user account in it.

How to change the service account?
Or anyway.. atleast..

That depends on which firmware you are on now... Better still, just reflash the previous firmware.. Need to go back a couple pages to get the links and how to.
