My batt today.. 6 hours+ SOT with still 30%++ juice left.. i think can achieve up to 8h SOT.. Weekend usage for browsing, iFlix (increase brightness when watching movies), spotify and a bit of gaming.. no optimization or battery saving.. not bad..

Good, I am satisfied with this phone. So far its the best I had after Mediapad X1, Lenovo Phab Plus. I have two version, one china version and the other one is international version. Don't seem much different between both, except some minor software changes that I notice.

International version, current firmware DAV-701L-B005

China version, current firmware DAV-703L-B029

I saw some message that that are testing lolipop for this phone, not sure when it will be release officially. Anyway, that is for china version. Not sure if it will ever make it to international version.

Hi, did you get the 64Gb version of the M2 10 ?

Could you share your note taking experience with it, preferably with Microsoft's OneNote.

Thanks!

one feature that i find useful on huawei rom is the "timing boot and shutdown".. i've set the device to have rest (shutdown) for 3 hours in the midnight, perhaps this could help in lengthen its lifespan

So far I find it good. Haven't tried Ms onenote. Let me see if that can be installed.

But overall experience, good. Especially the sound. One of the best I ever had.

So far 6.0 no problem. I read many users got problem in the forum but I am ok with it.
Camera can use professional mode. It can screen recording also. Battery life feel can last longer.

if your OTA not work, you may try this link. All in chinese steps but I think it's not difficult to understand it.

5.1_b029 - 6.0_b211
http://club.huawei.com/thread-9237976-1-3.html

1. download the update.zip file- 1.13GB
2. unzip and copy all folders/files to SD card/dload ( create new folder if don't have )
3. go to settings>updater.

* take your own risk. as i know some of the mate 8 user also using this method to get latest update.

Huawei bootloader checks the Sdcard specially for the "update" directory and it will trigger the update sequence.

After the first boot, remove the sdcard so you won't bootloop forever.
