Hi hotlink please cancel mine as well as I've never given consent on subscribing to CRT DIY. Please shoot me a PM and I will give you my details.

To others, let's report to SKMM's facebook as this is unethical practice by maxis/hotlink. Yes they give us 3 days notice before renewing the package but in NO WAY they include the correct procedures to do so. This is proven by the mass complaints received in this thread.

The so-called 'notice' too is sent in English, so what about customers who don't speak or write in English, I bet the complaints received in this thread don't even represent 1% of scammed customers.

I'm going to move away from maxis as soon as this active period ends

Excerpts from my call to Maxis' 123 (Yes you can cancel CRT DIY by calling 123, and claim your RM3 back).

- Customers have to cancel the package on their own. Not doing so means they 'agreed' to be charged with RM 3/month.
- No luck for customers who can't understand English (my auto renewal message at least came in English). This is why education is important folks.
- The customer service personnel who helped me admitted that the current method to cancel the CRT DIY package is inconvenient. I say it's purposedly made so, hence customers are unlikely to cancel the renewal.

I have never subscribed to this package, so please terminate this subscription immediately.

Recently ported to Maxis from Digi and boom, auto subscribed to CRT that I never asked for. Seriously? Can you not be so desperate as to try to trick people into wasting their credits on things they don't want? I feel sorry for the kids and old people who never knew about this auto subscription. I want to unsubscribe. At least make it easier for people to unsubscribe it themselves instead of having to post here alongside thousands of other complaints about the same thing.

Didnt notice it was deducting from my balance for several months until today

I tried to call my own number from another phone and its so funny because its just the normal ringtone and i was charged rm3 per month......
