I have done some research rather than just based on forum or facebook.

Setia Ecohill encompasses 673 acres of land and target population of 30,000 people. Source from Setia.

Eco Majestic encompasses 1089 acres of land and target population cannot be found. Therefore, I made some estimation from Ecohill population, which is estimated 45,000 people due to larger land size.

Total expected population in these two area will be 75,000 people and expected to be completed in 8 years time. They are most like the people who will use the "new Ecohill link". I have not considered the population from Semenyih.

On the other hand, Bandar Mahkota Cheras has 10,000 household and spread over 903 acres with population 50,000. Source from wiki.

Bandar Sg Long is a 240 acre township and designed for 10,000 population.

Currently, we are suffer from traffic jam as quoted by many people due to only two access to Grand Saga Highway, e.g. Jalan Sg Long and Persiaran Mahkota 1. Total people using this access is 60,000 people.

By the way, Ecohill and Eco Majestic has total population of 75,000 people which is bigger than 60,000 from BMC + Sg Long!!!! OMG! Will residents from Ecohill and Eco Majestic experience the painful as BMC + Sg Long residents since they have only "new Ecohill link" and Old Semenyih road wow....

Fortunately, a new access is currently under construction at Sg Long to SILK. Strongly believe this will help to ease the traffic condition at least at Sg Long area.

This evening jam is bad. Everywhere in golden triangle is bumper to bumper. I decide to have my dinner first at the weld. Left raja chulan at 9pm reach back home 10.15pm plus 10 mins stop for refuel. I guess I took close to 30mins just to get out of kl and hit jalan cheras. Traffic is moderate heavy especially near lrt construction before taman midah and before cheras sentral. Once pass thru this road, it is smooth all the way back home. I didnt use sg long to lekas toll way but opt to use the normal road to semenyih via kajang saujana impian. The old semenyih town is clear. Probably it is late. Ha.

True about the population at Sg Long. See the Sg Long threat. However, please bare in mind that the population in Ecohill + Eco Majestic is estimated as the township is yet to be completed. In actual, it will be more based on the warmest respond from public.

Meanwhile, the population in BMC + Sg Long is the actual population.

Am I mentioned the bottleneck at Lekas? I am referring there "maybe" bottleneck towards the new eco hill link.

Yup, was told by Eco Majestic SA there will be a new link built by them. Unfortunately, they can't explain to me in details. But they highlighted to me that the new ecohill link is the nearest access.

1) You recognized there is bottleneck issue in future but not soon. Hopefully you managed to move out before the situation getting worst.

mahkota cheras , start from cheras vista area, 1 traffic light after jusco, after that, 2nd traffic light at the mahkota residence junction there, then 3rd and 4th traffic lights at grand saga junction there....
sg long from palm walk area there, 1st traffic light at UTAR junction, 2nd traffic light at commerical shoplots junction there,
3rd traffic light at petronas junction there, 4th and 5th traffic light lights at grand saga junction there....

total 9 traffic lights, correct my statement, ur 2 hands still enough to calculate...

Bang, bottleneck is referring to the road condition.
3 ways traffic lane and narrow to 2 ways traffic lane. highway is not all the way to KL Valley right?
We all experience Malaysian Driving attitude that when come to bottleneck, some driver will potong Q & use the emergency way and cause the traffic even worst.

this is unavoidable problem. not to say that your point of view is not correct or look for debate.
we only worry that more people moving in, the same traffic issue is still there.

ECH/EM is having the same highway designed and approved by the same body JKR even it is newly opened.
However will this highway is the best highway in Malaysia and won't have bottleneck issue??

I am aot taking anything away from this commendable effort. I can agree that opening of a new highway link would logically reduce traffic congestion of the existing roads.

There is one question. Were roads in Semenyih congested on Saturdays between 730am-815am before Ecohill link was opened? I can allude that during this time roads in PJ and KL are clear if there are no abnormalities such as accident, verhicle breakdown etc.

Today after settle things at Rhb bank jalan run razak, left at 620pm, drive all the way to Sungai long to meet my tenant, reach Sungai long traffic light at 7pm, stuck there for about 15 min....this 15 min already can reach setia ecohill by using silk and lekas highway , without traffic light....so in peak hour evening time, possible to reach setia ecohill from jalan tun razak area in less than hour

Am I deny any facts here? Whenever you are right, I said I am agreed, don't you open your eyes and read carefully?

Oh ya... Forget you also vested there. So just want to proof what people said in Facebook in correct? Don't you know that there is a new access in/out Sg Long via SILK under construction?

Most probably they came from Mines direction. Don't you ask them to pay toll to access via BMC?
